  • This video includes 5 ways you can get involved in the fight to end mass incarceration. Mass incarceration is destroying us all; not just those in the correctional system. We are spending far too much money on the imprisonment of non-violent individuals. It costs us taxpayers an average of $31,000 per inmate, annually. Its time we do something about this.
The War on Drugs is the cause of mass incarceration. In 2014, 97% of all convicted defendants pled guilty. Most pled guilty to a drug offense.

I just found channel. Enjoy your video.
I know my idea is unpopular. How about legalize all drugs! Big drug is Alcohol, it kill and hurt lot more people. We can regulated and tax like alcohol. And use some of that money to help people who are ready to get clean and get back on track. Portugal change their drug laws. But I think we can do better.

Here a unique but highly effective strategy - don't dabble in drugs to begin with. That way, you avoid the entire nightmare and won't be in the prison system for drug use/distribution. It's really easy; I've done it successfully my entire life, saving society $31,000 per year along the way. It's about individual choices and decision-making in one's own life.
