BIG Lizzy fan. I have always considered Lizzy Borden and Omen as the "Metal Blade" house bands. Give Em The Axe is still one of the greatest EP's ever released IMO. Lizzy also is what I consider "Shock" rock so to speak. Like W.A.S.P. The Murderous Metal Road Show live LP is just killer too. I think that whole show is on youtube also. Visual Lies is my fav LB LP and I think Maser Of Disguise is totally underrated and over looked. Nice vid John.
Such an underrated band. Maybe their 'shtick' caused people not to take their music seriously. You're so right about the musicians, very talented. I know you focused on these 3 albums, but Deal With The Devil and Appointment With Death are quite heavier. My Midnight Things went back to a polished sound though. American Metal 'Live' is on my 4th of July playlist, lol.
@@LairoftheAlchemist I was just searching for what he was up to after I asked that question. It looks like he was in the studio in 2022 with Mike Bordin, but I haven't heard anything that they did together yet.

Wow they were definitely one my favs. back in day along with the classic metal blade era bands.
Master of Disguise.......is a masterpiece lp !!!!!
Looking forward to this. Very underrated artist/band. Visual Lies is a great album but Master of Disguise is his tour de force- a real masterpiece.
Very underrated band. Should have had a lot more success. Great video guys🤘🏻
Lizzy Borden doesn't get talked about enough. Great talk!

The Silo was a great place to see a show. I saw David Lee Roth there in '99.
Speaking of Lizzy Borden, does anyone know what happened to Joe Holmes after Farmikos?
That's a good question, I really liked what I heard from Farmikos and was hoping for more, haven't heard anything since.
