I'm still betting if they release another version of these figures with unmasked heads, the figures won't have the weblines. I have thought that since these were announced lol. Spidey tax means you'll have to pick up both for the most complete figure.
The current rumor is that the neck of the new figure will be a flesh tone so it’ll have that problem like Endgame Iron Man releases where they were basically the same figs, but the heads weren’t compatible :c

I customised my marvel legends tasm 2 electro, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the new Andrew Garfield figure looks next to it. So excited for this 3 pack. It is my most anticipated set of figures for the year with Indy being second.
My local Marvel Legends dealer advised me today that all 3 Spider-Men, Tobey, Andrew, and Tom, will be released this December as singles in a wave, along with a Charlie Cox Daredevil and BLADE. No word yet on the other 3 figures in that wave and no word on the build a figure either. Stay tuned.
I hope it’s not blade. Would be a waste of a figure for that wave. We just need a fully dedicated no way home wave
I have no doubt that it will be officially a No Way Home movie wave. However, my guess is that the Blade figure will probably be one of those special insert GamerVerse figures. A "Midnight Suns" version of Blade. Much like the current upcoming "Marvel Knights" wave that features the special insert of the GamerVerse Midnight Suns Iron Man. It be nice to complete the Midnight Suns team in various upcoming waves. @@dudemanboywrestling5734
It’s very likely that they’ll release new sculpts of the spideys in possibly civilian clothes / lab scene clothes with unmasked heads but guess we have to wait and see
I wouldn't mind having a Tobey and Andrew Spider-Man figure, but they're not so high on my list that I needed this set. Andrew looks great however Tobey would be the one I'd want the most, but more so one proportioned like his appearances in the Raimi trilogy, ever since those first CG renders the proportions looked off to me with this figure. In No Way Home most of the time it seemed like he was CG when he was wearing the mask and in action scenes so it's harder to tell how different his proportions were, we never really get a great shot of him just standing with the mask on.
Either him or his stunt actor had broader shoulders back in 2002-2007, and the head seemed narrower compared to this figure. He just had more traditional heroic looking proportions and this new figure doesn't capture that to me, but I'll give the figure the benefit of the doubt that it's based on the newer movie rather than the older ones. I know they're going back to windowless packaging and I hope that supposed NWH wave is part of that, I think I'd need to see it in person to determine whether I'd get that figure.
That’s because the old suit had a muscle suit inside it, which is what gave it that super defined look. That’s why he’s slimmer now. You can see his physique when he meets Doc Ock in NWH. It’s not bad, but not as toned as the original
@@EthanRom Ah, I figured it was either that or my mental image was the stunt actor from those older films. Glad you mentioned the Doc Ock shot, that's the closest we get to a clear shot of him wearing the mask too when he isn't CG, but even then its a split second.

@@EthanRom the mask looks stupid. But tbh the muscle suit in Spider-Man 1 & No way home looks the best. his muscle suit in Spidey 2 & 3 is too over exaggerated, & at times in the movie it looks extremely fake, especially in 3.

I've had this set sitting here unopened for the last 2 weeks. Gotta see how the wave versions are before I decide to keep this set or not. The actor heads mean more to me than the hands and webs so if that is the main difference between the individual and the set then I'll be getting rid of this

First MCU Spider-Man from Civil War also had painted web lines. 19:27 Toy Biz Tobey had blue at the armpits and painted front elbow hinges. Come on Hasbro, this is FN Spider-Man. The colors on the figure from the first Raimi movie are really good. I don't want a SM3 Symbiote suit on this "Tubby" Maguire body. 11:28 New TASM figure has an inaccurately positioned back spider logo. 22:06 Correct on the old one.
The Tobey figure's physique reminds me of the Spider-Man 2 deleted scene where J.K. Simmons wore the suit.
I got 2 so i can keep one mint in box, im mainly looking forward to toby since his the spidey i grew up with but i havnt seen anyone mention that his back spider had 10 legs when he crunches forward, he looks a little chubby too but honestly im just happy to hav all 3 since im pretty new to collecting
I don't regret dropping $100 on this set, they're all 3 great and I have the shf Tobey, aside from articulation this one is better and I never display with unmasked heads anyway.
I grew up with Toby and Andrew. Tom’s good. But I grew up with the first two live action Spider Man
I could probably take a loss on the unmasked heads in this set. My only real complaint is no gripping hands for the web accessories.
Nice review, very well laid back! Peter 1 is a semi-fail, Peter 2 is an epic win and Peter 3 is a SUPER WIN!!! Can’t wait for hasbro to give us a wave 2 of no way home figures with Tobey and Andrew with the unmasked head sculpts!
I wish those guys are the first phase. Like they should do some more of them a continuation for the spider verse countdown. I have a list of characters that could consume their own action figures.

True That Spider-Man No Way Home Wave 2 Is Rumors
Great review as always. I like that your one of the few that mentions about the potential of not buying this 3-pack and what one could miss out. If the rumors are true and the individual releases for Tobey and Andrew happen one or some or all of the following occur:
1)Yes we could get unmasked heads BUT maybe no masked head sculpts
2)Color deco could change slightly
3)Tobey could be in civilian attire
4)Andrew could have lab coat
- if 3 and 4 happen that means if you didn’t Buy this 3-pack you won’t have the suited versions
5) less extra hands
6) justifying less accessories because they come with a BAF piece
7)* I could be wrong and they come in their suits along with an unmasked head but less extra hands
I originally passed but might now actually get it as I don’t want to miss out if any of the above happen.

I imagine that they will come with all their hands, a head sculpt, and will cost at least 35 dollars a pop.
I find it stupid Hasbro couldn't update the the forearms on Integrated suit with the ones on Upgraded suit.
They look awesome
the inaccuracy of each figure is absolutely mind blowing. Peter 1 is reuse which has bad proportions and they didn't bother fixing the wrist. Peter 2 has crappy painted web-lines and tiny shoulder and ridiculously wide hip that doesn't even look like Tobey's body type. And then there's Peter 3 which is super ripped for no reason which doesn't look like Garfield, the spider logo on the back is not suppose to touch the red, and then there's the super slanted low shoulder which is also inaccurate to Garfield's flat shoulder, long torso and short legs look. How are these avg $30??? when Jada gives you a guy wearing baggier pants that has better articulation. Why are people praising this set? just because we haven't got Tobey and Andrew in a long time?
I’m with you I feel they will do single release with either no web lines, just unmasked head no masked heads or more civilian bodies like them in lab coats. I lean more towards deco cuts like mojo pack vs single release
I really hope they dont stop at No Way Home. I would love to have figures of the villains rom that movie, but i also want figures of them from their respective movies. Like, I would LOVE a Green Goblin from NWH but also Green Goblin from Spider-Man(2002). I'd lo e a NWH Electro and an updated TASM2 Electro. An updated TASM Lizard. Sandman from NWH and SM3. I'd love for Hasbro to go back and visit those older movies since they are now part of the MCU multiverse and are being placed on Disney+. This would be the perfect time for them to do that.
