Thank you for the great video & content. We are from Australia & proud to say, we love wine & do have some amazing wine regions (especially for reds). But we are always keen to discover wines from other parts of the world, so love your content. Big cheers from Melbourne 🍷!
You do have amazing wines! 🙌 And I am Constantly looking for deals to travel to Australia and finally visit regions behind those wines. And hopefully learn and discover new things. 🫡
That was a fast repost. 16:26 Orange wines might be all the rage now but in Portugal is as been a craft since over a century ago. The process there is called Curtimenta and you can find dozens of amazing examples being executed flawlessly since the early 80's. Anselmo Mendes' Curtimenta is still my favourite but plenty to go around from different Portuguese regions.
I think Orange Wine aka white wine aged on its skins is a one of the ancient wine styles found in many winemaking regions. The one that comes to my mind first though, is Georgia! ☺️
Enjoying the video, astutely learning and loving all the answers then chills and goosebumps come over me as I hear you answer my submitted question. Wow! What a surprise 🎉🎉🎉😊
Yes, it is the new regulation in EU, and there might be some period given to sell out the previous bottles, but all the new wines should be coming with the QR code. 🙌
@@NoSediment I was surprised to find a Q&A on this channel. There don't seem to be enough online videos in Latvian or Lithuanian so one question to answer next time is could you make videos in Latvian, captioned in English so that fellow Latvians can watch in their own language. Your people must cope with another language being spoken as soon as their leave their own country, so those living abroad may well be ticked if a fellow Latvian bothers to make native-tongue videos.
I though you were drinking a skin contact wine in a thumbnail but apparently it was a Jura!😅 hope to see more skin contact and Georgian wines from you in 2024🙏
I never got my foot in the door for champagne. I tried over and over but never understood why somebody would consider it being the best compared to other kinds of wines.
That is okay, we all are different and enjoy variety of stuff, the same is for wine! If You don’t like it or it doesn’t bring You the same joy, don’t choose it! 🙌✨
@NoSediment thanks for answering! Don't worry, I am just fine, even without Champagne 😉 I can enjoy a glass or two but i haven't fallen in love (yet). Maybe it's just not my cup of... I mean... my glass of wine, though. 🤭
I have a question: If you had $160-$120 to spend on a 2nd Growth Bordeaux for someone who enjoys the more modern style of Reds with preference to younger wines, how would you order the following from most desirable to least: A) 2015 Leoville Las Cases B) 2016 Pichon Lalande C) 2018 Ducru Beaucaillou
Good morning Aussie time:) Is your first name spelled Agnes or Agnese? Seems to be some confusion on the posts. And I get the same thing a lot as my first name is Blair, which is a man’s name but now gets used for both men and women.
Hi! ✨ In my country, every name must have an ending, so it is AgnesE, otherwise it is half finished word 😂😅. But I really don’t mind “Agnes’” as well, because it doesn’t change the meaning. 🤷♀️
Dear Agnes, glad ti know that U might come and visit iur region og Valtellina. I was there in August last year.pls let me know if U Need any advisors or suggestion.U Will find some marvelous nebbiolo grapes over there. Cheers 🖐️
One bottle in one week? I drink one bottle per day for over 20 years LOL. And I'm 100% healthy!
For me full bottle over a one evening is too much, and I don’t feel that well. Plus I really follow how much I consume 🙏🏻

All the rage? Where are you from? They're not even known about in the UK
@@mattestilo8841 Probably from someplace more in tune with wine than the UK
Thank you for answering these questions. Looking forward to the new video’s. There is sooo much to discover.

For a short hair, your dog is really winter sturdy, playing in the snow au naturel.
Yes, indeed. We actually do have all kinds of clothes for him, but he doesn’t like them and wouldn’t be exercising with them on. 🤷♀️
I never knew about the QR code, I’ll be checking this out. I’m always curious what’s actually in the bottle 👍 Many thanks

Where in Portugal do you recommend? Heading there in July and would love to visit some wineries. Cheers!
Some of the most beautiful vineyards are found in Douro Valley! Absolutely beautiful place!
May I ask, what is this beautiful glass at 8:45?
Thank You! That one is Zalto Burgundy! Very beautiful indeed. 🥂
‘Whew! Long question…Wine!…’ 👏👏👏👏👏👍😂
Hahah, sorry, it was not my intention to be rude! 🙃
@@NoSedimentLOL Not at all - you handled that loaded question very well! 👏👏👏👍
Are those the twins from The Shining on your shelf? 😄
Exactly that. 😂😂

Have you tried Mead?
If You mean honey fermented alcohol beverage, then yes, but not much. 🤷♀️

Oh very interesting. I didn’t know that about Latvian. So a name must end in a vowel. 👌
Thank you for taking the time to reply. 👌👍
And would you watch a video in Latvian if captioned in English?
