  • On this very special episode, the son of the Black Messiah blesses the trap with some revolutionary knowledge. Fred Hampton was a 21 year old Black Panther leader who was assassinated in his Chicago apartment in 1969. His son, Fred Hampton Jr. continues the struggle today and gives some insight into the making of the film 'Judas and The Black Messiah' which was based on his father's life.
Plus, Chairman Fred Hampton Jr. explains how the revolutionary struggle continues today and gives an update on the many political prisoners still locked up. This is the coldest podcast!

I came across the Chairman Fred Hampton Memorial maybe 2 years ago visiting a homie that’s a pastor at a Baptist church around the corner from the painting.

Like in a political speaking event this woulda been fire but like the internet comedy podcast format needs more back and forth from the dudes hosting so you can process it and react in a kickback way to keep people interested. Like a lot of the shit he was talking about was complex ideas made short and quick for the people who already did the studying. So it's like speaking to this audience that way is gonna lose a lot of people. I mean I already knew all the million dollar words he said but even I had trouble keeping up cause he was going so fast and didn't take breaks

@Derrick Lee I’m 20. In my household this has been a topic discussed daily since I’ve been conceived and before. I hate how y’all try to downplay the younger generation when a lot of us are boots on the ground trying to keep and uphold the morals and values, taught and displayed by the Black Panther party and other Great leaders. Yeah some don’t know, but we have to realize they haven’t had a person in their life to enlighten them, but this may be what they need to see. It takes a leader spirit, if you’re a follower, you’ll hang with followers and become blissfully comfortable in your ignorance. If you’re a leader, you’ll drop yo nuts, and lead your own independent revolution! Just know, it’s some young educated men who are doing more than what you see. Blood, sweat and tears, everyday. Sculpting minds and enlightening the youth.
