Yeah, that exhaust was strangling it for sure, Get as much air in but it has to flow at both sides to perform its best. Sometimes you've got to find that perfect ballance of air in and exhaust out. Great video buddy, as always 👌👍
Time to pre it for paint sand it down with 320 grit the clear coat is pretty much gone maybe 600 grit will do the job

I had a 99 acura with an f23a1 in it and I threw a 700$ turbo kit on her and I got 237hp 241tq at 12psi and basically stock internals

I also have this swap on my 99 accord coupe lx. I swapped the injectors and Iacv resulted in an idle of 3k rpms when @ operating temp and a miss fire. So I adjusted the throttle cables & I double backed to chase down a vaccume leak. But ive been doing research on the injectors and im finding that the injectors are different from usdm injectors. I cant seem to find a part number for jdm f23a injectors....so i ask have you swapped out your injectors? If so part # please 😅
100% on these f23 not having great support and buying headers if you can. Shoutout to unequal fabrication for his headers if your gonna pay high for a header anyway think about grabbing from him instead of some bigger company.

I had a f20b6 vtec on my cb7 with a cd5 ecu that shit runs great without tuning it was fire mehn i love it, but i need a aftermarket header to have more hose power which will i go for, thanks bro loving ur video all day.
