What bro said is very accurate... F20b f22 transmission . If you launch too low. It bogs. You launch to high,it spins. The h23 non VTEC transmission is similar too but slightly quicker. I talk from personal experience with both.
F20b with a b16 trans 4.92 final drive is an entirely different beast

That wagon is Nice. Me been out a while but now working on 97 civic sedan with b16 transmission with b20b engine. Full bolt on she is decently quick.
But use after market rods and take the balancers out and block the old ones port the oils pump and put a shim on the bottom oil pump spring where you tighten it 300hp plus stock 4:46
Don't forget to turn the k series piston backwards intake exhaust 5:00

Many people don't count the h series tranny , it works way better when h series motor is built since it didn't come out semi built like b series and k series.... B series tranny short so stock h will like it.
