CS - Great job in putting the CBSRMT Shows together. I have listened to at least 200 shows. I Love the art work utilized with project. It is FANTASTIC!! They all have a connection with each story. You put a LOT OF TIME in this Project, and I Appreciation your effort. I am Grateful!!
Hearing his Southern Accent, reminds me of his accent from the movie "My Cousin Vinnie" where he played a Southern Judge. Absolutely love Fred Gwynne. The man's good in anything that he does. What a distinctive voice. I would recognize his voice instantly in a room with other people.
Love these radio shows from 1974 - 1982. We need these today to help get through the horse pucky “they” shovel at us every day. Loved the great Fred Gwynne! Enjoyed 7/23/22.
Fred Gwynne has acted in other mystery stories with the Radio Mystery Theaters. I recall when he couldn't find work in movies he switch to radio for a short duration plus he has an excellent voice for radio as well.
Why tf do people keep mixing up Hades/Pluto and Satan/Devil? Hades was one of the most mild-mannered gods ever. Also, since Persephone is also a god, she wouldn't have died. Maybe she divorced him, I suppose. But their marriage was one of the most stable out of all the Olympian couples. Them and Eros/Psyche.

Such an intolerable wife (who utters the vile "ain't" around 8:19) putting on airs & trying to hide her own humble, yet respectable, background. :) Ain't nothing wrong with being a barmaid working in a family business, especially when so many youth (myself included in the past) just lounge(d) around not earning their keep!
