Thanks for reposting this great radio series 👍😊 ! I listened to this show for years on a Chicago-area 📻 station, WBBM ,newsradio 78 on the AM band. It was part of a show hosted by Charles " Chuck " Schaden called " When Radio Was ." Listened every time it was on .Thanks, Chilly Sunshine, and thanks RUclips 😊 🙏.
5:33am,lights off, snuggled under the duvet as the rain pitter patters against the window, time to close my eyes and enter the Mystery Theatre Thanks ChillySunshine
@Phill Ivey haha i just knew you would say that haha,i bet myself a plate of cheese and biscuits that you would, and i am munching on them as we speak with some wotsits accompanying
11:16 pm settling in after a day of work and cleaning around the house. Ready to get under the covers and listen....the commercials are almost more soothing to me than the show. I was little when these were broadcast.
ChiilySunshine...I haven't responded for quite sometime ......I just wanted you to know I listen to your videos with bated breath every time you post your 'wide range' and 'thought provoking ' skits and skittish episodes. It's enjoyable and right up my alley as I tend to lean towards the paranormal and the 'unexplained......As always thank you for the entertainment and open-minded episodes that you have displayed......Bill Sheppit (a.k.a ... slickerbill) (Slicker is my very first dog...Labrador Retriever and Boxer passed 1978).........Anyways ....Keep up the 'great' videos, Great job .......Thank You !
Good one i was browsing stories and the pic grabbed me, took a short break from cbsmrt been listening to some BBC naval dramas, i said it before and ill say it again this is one fine channel thanks chilly
@ 42:07 He pines wistfully for female creature he cannot have. Probably the saddest of all the unrequited loves is the deep beneath the sea version. When he is describing his adventure beneath the sea to his friend, he reverts to any fishermen's version of events. Explaining the one that got away, he spreads his arms as widely as possible and states "Aah you should have seen her, she must have been this big!" 😁😁
it looks more like Captain Neptune Underwater Castle or capsule With a traveling monorail to bubble. I'm heading back to the play or radio show whatever you want to call it,, I'll just may see you later ? After I dry off Hardy har ha ha... Time for the adventure ? Hmmmmmmmm ?????
Exposing my strange thought process, here goes. Lone Ranger and his Indian sick kick Tonto riding in an unfamiliar area. They observe dozens of Indians high on the surrounding mountains. Lone Ranger looks at Tonto and says "What are we going to do about all those Indians!" To which Tonto replies "What do you mean WE white man!" @37:52 Our hero is recently held in the jail . The female sea creature appears to him and he wants to know what WE are going to do about his being imprisoned . To which she replies "What do you mean WE, land lumber! " 😂😂
@@ChillySunshine, you're alive! Haven't seen many responses from you in maybe 2 years. I love these "old" CBSRMT shows. Perfect way to wind down my evening. Are you posting anything since your response above, similar radio shows from the past?
I wonder what could've been accomplished by having the late Rod Serling, who hosted the Twilight Zone and the Night Gallery TV Series , adapt some stories for CBSRMT ! Some of these tales are worthy of a movie 🎬 adaptation. However, mermaids can be tricky and deadly to humans. I seem to recall 🤔 they were part Greek Sirens, who lured sailors to their doom ? Thanks, RUclips 😮😊.
For some reason I like these more than tv or movies.
You're not alone!
I've got a bunch of these downloaded that's what I fall asleep to at night
I also particularly love the artwork here, you pick some really beautiful art!
And it is how I know which video to watch
Chilly always put a lot of thought and effort, into the thumbnail art. RIP Chilly. You left an amazing community behind.💙💔💜
Thank-you for the great radio mystery theater stories and the cool art! I knit or crochet and listen for hours :)
Love the old commercials. Funny California was stated as priced higher than everywhere else. They ruined it long long ago. That is CHILLING
And now they want to tax the rich for 10 years after they move out! Only in the not so Republic of California!
Thank you for posting the old shows. Love em!
love these stories while I'm at work make the day so much smoother

That cracked me up though, "land lumber"! I'm weird like that, thanks spell check!
> don't ever do it...
These are better than the current television and movies of today ; However, this is just the thoughts of an ignorant old man.
I hear the voice of Moana from who's the Boss😮
Sounds like a Mermaid. And if she is he better run away from her as quickly as possible. Guardian Angel? Lol she is not.
