Cleaning a Chataigne

Steps to cleaning a Chataigne
1. Peal the green layer of skin
2. Remove the seeds
3. Clean the outer layer from the seeds
4. Seperate the cabbage like pieces smaller
5. Wash clean and cook.
6. If your not cooking right away you can give it a rinse with Hot water.
7. Let cool and then Freeze
(Step 6 keeps it soft for cooking if your not doing it right away)
