    Broooo this is sick. Thank you so much for referring it to me on that Reddit post. I am incredibly motivated to get in the tunnel and start progressing!

      Hell yeah! It's well worth it, and a hell of a lot of fun.

    Love these progression videos. I’m 40minutes in and loving it. Had 2 sessions on back fly - can see it being a long road ahead! At what point did you buy your tunnel suit?

    • @iiip
      @iiip  День назад

      I bought my suit pretty early on! I've heard that using a student suit through head can be a good idea since it provides more lift. I'd ask your instructor!

      Yeah, tunnel time is like $15/minute, so 16 hours of time is $14.4k

      @inkjnk Месяц назад +1

      @@JohnDoe-fg9ngHere in Colorado it’s $20 a min/$100 for 5 min/$1,200 for an hour so 16 hours would cost $19,000+

    Great progression! I wish I did what you did and went for the head down carving before layouts, been working on those for months.

    • @iiip
      @iiip  Год назад

      No doubt. Felt like layouts took me forever.

    Really nice to see the progression over time. I have been wondering if tunnel time is worth it to improve skydiving skills.

      No, you don’t want to know. Best way to get 16hrs of tunnel time is just be a coach yourself lmao

    Great job! At what hour mark did you start sit flying? And then head flying? It’s cool that in just 16 hours you managed to get so good at linking routines! I have no idea how long it will take me - feels like maybe hundreds of hours lol

    • @iiip
      @iiip  Год назад +3

      Started learning sit around 2 hours in. Head down around 4 hours in. Everyone learns differently, no doubt! Progress is all that matters, even slow. There are times I've left the tunnel and felt I haven't improved at all, even backtracked. But the progression is definitely there!
