the Who are my favorite band of all time and my jaw is still on the floor watching this. I can't believe how good this cover band is. I am IMPRESSED!!!
IMO, the Dude sounds like PDBT when he sings - I know it’s a cover band and u can say “duh I would hope so “ , but these guys are good most covers suck.
I chuckled as I watched this because I remember John complaining that when he was playing the great parts, the cameraman always seemed to be fixed on the others. Looks like this bassist has inherited the Ox’s same luck with the cameraman, LOL!!! These guys really sound like the Who in full swing! 👍
Great version. The Who are one of, if not the most difficult band to cover as it is visual as well as aural. That is why there are not many Who cover bands and none as good as this one!
I have my brother to thank for turning me on to all the great bands of the 60s and 70's. Especially The Who, Zeppelin,Rush, Supertramp, Pink Floyd, Boston, etc. The list goes on. I'm almost 60 and still jam to all of them.
The most incredible cover of my favorite song! I hate to say this but live, The Who haven’t played this song as close as these talented musicians have! The Who were great but I never heard this song played by them in any live recording voice to the recording! This was VERY close!
Completely had me Fooled! I thought this was a lost treasure film from 1974? These Guys belong in Las Vegas! Hopefully they are still together? Making a lot of 💲 Because they deserve it! Wow! This tribute band for The Who 🇬🇧 They are an Outstanding example of the Band at they're Zenith!
Absolutely brilliant, my only criticism is that the drummer needed to not play the same fill every single time, I can tell he's more than capable, he just needed to do the other fills Keith used to play on the track "The Real Me".
Wow! Very impressive! Each one really has their parts down so well. The sound quality isn't that good because it's probably recorded from a cell phone and they still sound fantastic!!!
Does anyone if there is a WHO version of that Beatles “Fab Faux” ? I’ve never seen a Who cover band in my life - fan since 1979. I know the internet is the place to check but I’d have to check each local bars webpage - I really miss the local newspapers MOut of print 😢!
Another raised lighter for the Magic Bag, although I'm surprised some prankster didn't cover up "Bag" with "Bus" on the backdrop. This was a hell of a performance!
So i stumbled on this by accident, and i was telling my wife this must be very rare. Who footage and the ( reading the comments) we realised it's a cover band!... That tells you all you need to know! ( we had been drinking mind)
I'm usually not into impersonation cover bands like these (always found it a bit...i dont know...weird :) ) But i have to say, Hats off to those guys, they do it perfectly (daaaamn the bass player.....amazing
Cover band!!!??? They are great ! I'm jelous. I always wanted to get a band like this back in the early 80,s. We played a few of these but never enough.
@@staplesrd Right on! I think these are the same lads who were kind enough to allow me to sit in for a run-thru (i played Pete's parts)... great guys and stunningly good musicians! Cheers!!
Man that bass player has Entwistle down to the last detail.
This is unbelievable..
The voice is there, the bass, guitar sound, the distinctive drums, the overall feel..
These guys are really convincing..
the Who are my favorite band of all time and my jaw is still on the floor watching this. I can't believe how good this cover band is. I am IMPRESSED!!!
It’s not. It s The Who Live!
This is the best Who cover band I have ever heard or seen, they have their parts down Slip Kid
Keeping the real spirit of The Who alive
Jesus, John complete with Fenderbird. Dude plays exactly like John did.
Not really
Damn close!
IMO, the Dude sounds like PDBT when he sings - I know it’s a cover band and u can say “duh I would hope so “ , but these guys are good most covers suck.
These dudes are sick!! Spot on and flawless!! If u close your eyes it’s pretty damn hard to differentiate between the 2. Bass player is bad asss!!
I chuckled as I watched this because I remember John complaining that when he was playing the great parts, the cameraman always seemed to be fixed on the others. Looks like this bassist has inherited the Ox’s same luck with the cameraman, LOL!!!

Every view I see on RUclips I can only say the one thing.......A Great Cover Band !👍
Excellent. The drummer looks a LOT like Moon too.
Look at "Moon" go!
Moon the loon forever.
Facially, he'd make a better Townshend, but Who's complaining? Exceptional.
Fuck Me Dougal.. Just WHO ARE these Gentleman. Steller !
Keith Moon plays like he has 5 arms man.. he's unbelievable 👏
only 5?
@@capcompass9298 🤣
F yeah! There is no Substitute!!🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️👠👠👠
Every guy is excellent at what he does.
It took me an embarrassing long time to realize that this was a cover band. Damn are they good.
Yeah, took me a min too 🤷🏻♂️😅

That bass player can play! I wish I could play like that!
Tears of Tribute !!! OUTSTANDING DEAR BOYS !!!
This is insane. The vocals in the 1st bridge of 5:15 are absolutely beyond belief. How in the hell did these guys find each other?
By their shared love of The Who and their music, i would guess...
How the hell did The Who find each other? ;)
Seattle, 1976! Best concert of my life. Bowie in 83 a distant 2nd.
Wish I’d seen Bowie in 1983.
I thought they were the real deal because I put the song in the background while browsing the web. Now I see it's a cover... Unbelievable!
Omg... It literally took me half way through 5:15 to check the comments and realize that this is a cover band.🤯. Absolutely amazing.
They sound great. Good song too.
Kept thinking,"That doesn't look like Pete." The others are spot on.
This was fantastic. These guys are really good. They all look the part, too. Especially the bassist and drummer.
I thought it was the real thing until I put my glasses on ... outstanding !!
The place the're playing (The Magic Bag), is a few miles from me! How did I miss out on this!!!
The most incredible cover of my favorite song! I hate to say this but live, The Who haven’t played this song as close as these talented musicians have! The Who were great but I never heard this song played by them in any live recording voice to the recording! This was VERY close!
10/10 for you guys...you definately got that down

Would enjoy seeing them play all of Quadrophenia (my favorite rock album of all time)
This video is from the show where they did just that. Quadrophenia from beginning to end. It was epic.
The Greatest Rock Band of All Time!
The look is spot on. The two water bottles on the bass players mike stand is what Entwistle had.
Supposedly it was Jack Daniel’s and southern comfort
@@alangurneysmall3052 I had read mineral water in one in cognac in the other.
that drummer has his hands full, full serving.
Absolutely brilliant, my only criticism is that the drummer needed to not play the same fill every single time, I can tell he's more than capable, he just needed to do the other fills Keith used to play on the track "The Real Me".
OMFG, this video was posted 9 years ago????, why the heck you tube didnt recommend?
Incredible tribute band ❤
Wow! Very impressive! Each one really has their parts down so well. The sound quality isn't that good because it's probably recorded from a cell phone and they still sound fantastic!!!
Well, thats a darn good Daltry impersonation!!!!!!!
Unreal. Just beyond awesome!
These guys are fabulous.
This is absolutely unbelievable these guys are awesome
This is like hitting the rewind button and seeing The Who circa mid-seventies. Truly excellent!
The best album they linked to the movie ever ..
I had to do a double take! Excellent ❤
If this isn't the best who cover band in the world I can't imagine who is unbelievable... bass and drums.. Amazing
btw, moon rarely used his hi-hat.
No idea who you guys are but I’m glad you’re here. Shout out to the bass man but everyone is carrying the weight here!
Nice to see a concert with Keith Moon sober
Give me more, give me more I WANT MORE!!!
The Who. Second only to Zeppelin as the greatest band EVER.
Amazing cover band.
Brilliant!!!
I know I'm late to the party but that was excellent! Great job guys.
The real me is basically just a 3 minute drum and bass solo with Roger talking over it
Really nicely done...the look and the sound are outstanding (and one knows it sounds better live than on this recording...).
Outstanding! 🎯
Astonishing!
The Magic Bag . I’m 10 minutes up Woodward from there . . Who this tribute band and when ? Thanks
Best cover of 5:15 ever. Don't throw that beer bottle!
holy moley...nailed!

Who is this band? I can’t believe how much the drummer looks like Keith Moon!!! What is the name of this Tribute Band?
“Live The Who” - Detroit area. Thanks!
The singer's spot on, sounds like Roger Daltrey with a Who cover band.
Would've it been something if "Entwistle" actually had John's real Fenderbird from the early '70's?
The more I watch this the better it gets bass and drums. Plus u got roger pete
The drummer looks more like Pete. They sound good, having seen the real thing. My only question is where are the lasers? :)
So i stumbled on this by accident, and i was telling my wife this must be very rare. Who footage and the ( reading the comments) we realised it's a cover band!... That tells you all you need to know! ( we had been drinking mind)
If they did it like the Who, they need a tape machine playing the backing parts, piano etc. That's how The Who did it.
Super impressive! ✊🏼
Wow...excellent
These guys are good.

These guys are so good that the original band looks like they are covering THEM.
That is one hell of a tribute band. WOW. They not only sound dead on. They look the part. Even Moonie. Who are they?
“Live The Who” - Detroit area
Wow great job guys.
Holy f***, awesome !
ambitious is an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Entwistle with his Isle of Wight skeleton outfit...
Great bass player
very good....love it
unbelivable 🤘
OUTSTANDING!
Wow...really good
Where can I see them? They are fantastic
Unfortunately, 2 are gone now. I’m not sure it Pete Townsend and Roger Daltry still tour.
Which came first, the movie or the album, or this cover band?
very impressive
Thanks for the post ---- Where was this---what city? What's the band's name?? Cheers!
This was at The Magic Bag in Ferndale, MI. The name of the band is "Live The Who".
