- NintendoCade Gaming is proud to present an in-depth ULTIMATE TOUR of the Nintendo NY Store located at 10 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
The store opened on May 14, 2005, formerly as Nintendo World, is a 10,000-square foot store with 2 floors filled with Nintendo apparel, video games, systems, accessories, collectibles, and exclusive Nintendo items only available here. It is also the place to try out the latest games for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS with its plentiful gaming kiosks available for everyone to play.
A popular attraction of Nintendo NY includes a big 15-foot gaming screen to play hit Nintendo Switch games in full glory as well as a life-sized Donkey Kong statue. Other features include an amiibo showcase featuring every amiibo released, and a Nintendo museum showcase presenting numerous handhelds and game systems released in Nintendo’s history ranging all the way back to the Color TV-Game 15, NES, and Game Boy all the way to the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo NY Store is an amazing place for any Nintendo and video game fans, so be sure to watch the entire tour to see everything this store has to offer.

I'm from NYC, and bought myself a Nintendo Switch from Nintendo NY Store at the end of January 2018. It was my very first time visiting their storeplace as I'm not a fan of Nintendo. It's a decent enough place, but I was underwhelmed. I was half expecting to be impressed by something, I don't know. I heard the store was actually alot better before the recent renovation. What's your view on this?? Though I've never been a fan, I have owned a few of their products over the decades. I had the NES back in the 80s as a kid, the original Gameboy, the NDS, The NEW 3DS XL, and recently, the Nintendo Switch.
This vid of yours was entertaining, and you did a pretty thorough job of showcasing the store. I'm a serious gamer, and extremely knowledgeable of most things dealing with gaming, Nintendo included, but maybe I should've had you with me when I visited it.😆Your enthusiasm is endearing. Keep up the good work, buddy. You deserve more subscribers. You've just made a new one. 😊
Thank you for watching and leaving your thoughts on the Nintendo NY Store. It is great you were able to visit the Nintendo NY Store recently this past month for the first time. It is totally understandable your feelings wasn't as you hoped it to be when you visited the store in January 2018. The store is usually cleared out heavily during the Holidays by tourist. They tend to fully restock again around mid February, hence the atmosphere feels more richer as a result. To answer your question, personally I do enjoy the Nintendo NY Store but I do miss the expansive showcase they use to have. What a great detailed, professional looking tour! I went to what was probably Nintendo World on my visit to New York a few years ago and absolutely loved it. I bought a large Pikachu whose ears now double as a bracelet holder. Thanks for the memories of a wonderful trip!

One day I’ll visit this place, I still remember many years back my elder brother went there and got me some of the Sanei Pikmin plushes. I still cherish them to this day.

@@NintendoCade Got back from New York a few weeks ago and had a blast at the Nintendo store! Bought me some plushies (I was tempted to get a Marx plush), a t-shirt, a Ridley amiibo, and two Zelda piano sheet music books. So glad I came here!

Could you tell me the prices of the plushes? Great video I can't stop watching it
To answer your question, all plush vary in price based on size. Small plush go for $10-20 USD. Big ones can be for $30-100.
