Mini tutorial topic suggestions: 1. How to be consistent with music practice 2. How to feel okay and keep practicing even if your music sounds trash 3. How to not bang your head against the wall when you're frustrated with the poor Mix
1. Grind 2. Grind (with breaks) 3. Take a break I find if I go travelling with my laptop and SSD I can get inspiration out of anything. But recently I haven't put time aside for music
I loved the first reason of "musicianship." Making music is so easy nowadays that people are forgetting that you also need to be good at "Music" with the DAW.
Interesting! I always thought you recorded straight to audio because an audio file is easier to chop and manipulate and stuff. I love the take on the "don't overthink sh*t" idea, I can totally relate lol
I've been wondering if you ever make some of your beats available for sale, they're really good and in the future I'd like us to work together on some projects
which bit rate is best for stems and how to export stems in high quality mean to say bit rate and all hope you got my point mate anyway Love from India
Well that’s what you had to do before the DAW was even invented. You rolled the tape and started playing/singing. That’s all I use a DAW for, it’s just a glorified tape machine.
My advice would be to listen to a wide range of bands and artists in the genre (both popular and underground artists) and get a feel of what they're doing in their music. Also try interacting with the community of the genre your planning on trying to make because people in the community could help you get a better understanding of the genre. Also avoid how to make _____ videos because they usually either just show you how to make a very basic and cookie cutter version of the genre or they're some Clown who doesn't know shit about the genre themself. (*Cough* Simon's Trap metal video *Cough*) Sorry for the long reply! XD Just thought I'd give my advice.
Spending time on fixing some bad notes and having the ability to see what you played or spending time on practicing in the middle of a beat session trynna play it right and can't fix any bad notes later on. Your choice 😂
Any other questions?
