No the meteor wasn't anything major even if it hit directly it won't do much dmg just like some houses destroyed space debris can do much dmg if fell directly lol. This one just turned out to be just big enough to light up the sky

Meteors like this tend to be very small and burn up in the atmosphere way before they even reach the Earth's surface. If it did land however, it would most likely be off the coast of Portugal, however there's no hope in retrieving that meteor because it is almost indistinguishable from normal rock.
