Gary Fisher did a similar thing years ago with Genesis Geometry. Shortened the CS's, lengthened the TT and shortened the stem - everyone scoffed at it. Not as extreme as Mondrakers short stems and CS's, but nevertheless. He also championed 29'ers back in the day when everyone scoffed at it :)
I’ve recently been seeing another way to fit a bike, called the RAD measurement. It seems to make a lot of sense. Fundamentally it looks at how your arm reach works but also taking into account your leg lengths. I’m short legged/ long torso 6’1” and naturally gravitated towards Large or XL, based off Reach. Many of the bikes feel very stretched at 480mm. My RAD would translate my reach to 455mm or a Medium. I hoped on my wife’s Rocky Mountain HT and it immediately felt easier to maneuver and ride. I’m still a noob but have honestly never felt the sizing charts for bikes match me. RAD seems to
Doddy. I just bought an F-Podium. Where can I find some Mondraker apparel in the USA? Everything is EU based. I just want a jersey and can’t fine one online anywhere.
It is always a pleasure to listen to Doddy 👌
Great presentation Doddy.
Money well spent Mondraker.
Doddy is the man learnt so much off him over the years 🤘🏻
I understand when you explain things. Long time fan of you Doddy!
I want the bike to transform or change my weight on it to propel itself forward.
What is the appropriate geometry for the bike?
Great video! Makes so much sense when Doddy explains it. 👍

If you want one of the best forks available, put a Marzocchi coil kit in that Fox Rhythm 36.
