Concerto brutal. Triste que a letra desta musica continue apenas a ser um sonho . Curioso ter sido tocada no mesmo dia do "incidente" com trump. John Lennon era um pacifista e foi assassinado, assim como Martin Luther King , Gandhi e tantos outros que que dedicaram a sua vida a tentar fazer do mundo um sitio melhor . trump ,um instigador da violência, saiu apenas com uma ferida na orelha. Escapou, como tantos outros responsáveis pelo sofrimento de milhões ao longo da história

I was there too, an amazing concert, the last one of the European leg of the tour, and they had had a complicated few days before, but they were as marvellous as ever. I had exactly the same thoughts as yourself about the meaning of this song, and how it portrays a dream that still escapes us. Did you hear the comments Eddie made about his country now being in pain? That moment almost coincided with "the incident". (close on 1:00 in Portugal, about 7 hours behind in USA). You are so right about the unfairness of exemplary people being assassinated, while others of lower human ethics escape with a scratch.

I had ticket since December ,but had Covid the week before the show and luckily 13July I was ok and tested negative.So in some way I can relate to the complicated days they had. Yes I heard his comment and I feel the problem with powerful contries like USA, its that there will always be bad leaders wanting to take that power. Sadly there will always be cancers to heal. So the world will keep spending so much money in wars and ways to destroy others, and so little in finding cures for diseases or ending hunger
