    Good for her, the sport needs some young blood, I hope she does as well as the William's sisters. It's good see people rise above the fray. Venus and Serena are incredible so it was no easy task. The Williams sisters will be retiring in a few years but that does not detract from someone who is legally a child beating one of the all-time greats. Let's not forget that to compete in a Grand Slam tournament one has to be a very good player indeed. No one's done her any favours to get here, it's been hard work.

  • @bigrobsydney
    @bigrobsydney 5 лет назад +2

    What a great story about a new player coming up. I said this before about some of the other players like Kenin, Anisimova, Andreescu, Yastremska. I think we can add this young lady to the list, surely? And let's not forget, every player has a team of people helping them, usually mum and dad, who do all the driving, the countless hours of help, the emotional support, often being hitting partners in the beginning, and the list goes on. Really love seeing the story behind the story, and when you see the sheer amount of love that goes into it, it is a beautiful thing.
    Not to knock Venus at all either, but she certainly had a lot of time already, and maybe someone else can have a chance to have that same experience. Share the Love, people!

Just checking because that's literally what happened to nearly 12.5 million africans and according to your logic, their kidnapping and being hostages now mean that they are not of the same people. That is rude. Many great players lose 1st or 2nd round, even to young players. I don't hear calling for their retirements. And saying she is just a 15 year old girl is a vast underestimation of her skills.
