How To Make Humane Rat Trap From Cardboard

There has been trouble in Sam and Sue's home. Someone ruined Sue's favorite socks, nibbled on Oreo and turned all the craft supplies upside down! It looks like they've got a rat in the house. But it's not Tater Tots, it's someone new! To catch this naughty fellow, Sue's making a simple humane rat trap to catch the rat without harming him.
This trap is made out of cardboard and wooden skewers. It is operated by a very simple mechanism. Make sure to ask an adult to help you with the wires, though! This trap-making process has been full of excitement. Check out the highlights:
