- The Yamaha PG-1 has recently entered the market with a charming trail style.
However, the famous modifier, K-SPEED, has used the Yamaha PG-1 as a canvas to create an eye-catching scrambler.

I love these lower cc bikes, because my brain is naturally stoned all the time so I don’t need to go super fast and wrap myself around a tree😂i just like bobbing along on trails.
Right there with you
I own a Monkey and a TW200
Yep. Same here!!
Same here
Love it ❤
Yup!!!
I have pictures from the late 50's through the 60's from my dad's racing club (Nortown Motorcycle Racing Club) out of Willowdale Ontario showing AJS's, Triumphs, and Norton Manx's converted from road racers to scamblers, then the next week, use them for a 6 day endurance run. All steel and 500lbs worth! Boxes of pictures, and 16mm home movies documenting the fore runners of, today's dirt bikes! What a legacy those racers were back then! Tough as nails!
( my dad's club hosted N. American champion, and a world championship rider, Mike Hailwood, true fact!) That scrambler shown is pretty freaking cool 👍 Cheers from British Columbia 🇨🇦
We want this model in the USA!
Ok you are NOT comparing the stock bike to the Honda. Yamaha is late to the dinner party with this bike. Honda has had decades to perfect their bike. The low slung exhaust is CLEARLY an issue since your custom version put it where it should be, for any off road machine. With these idiotic catalytic converters forced on every bike, the worst place for them is down low, where the very real potential of starting a grass fire is not just possible, but likely.
I’ve been following the PG1, and I still don’t understand why they’re not bringing it to the United States. I wish this would’ve come here. Do they not realize that there is a real market here in the US where people that are needing something that is fuel efficient and still has all the Capability to make it through day-to-day life here in the US?
Nah, Americans will demand at least 500cc with twin turbos, because.... Small peepees? I dunno, but they do, don't they? *shrug
Honestly it's really dumb to not bring here. Would take this over an ebike for sure.
@@Ntmoffi most likely US Senators and the EPA are dead set on killing competition so EBikes will be the only alternative. Absolute evil.
I think it’s all about money, if people in like Mexico or Asia could afford all the huge bikes in the US they wouldn’t have the choice of a small cc bike either
Their market research probably suggests that it wouldn’t sell that well in the US. I think you guys usually prefer larger displacement bikes which suit your larger and straight roads.
قمه النزاهه والتفوق في الصنع خيالي جدا ❤❤❤
This should be MASS produced. I Sooo wanted a Honda GROM Scrambler which only remained a CONCEPT....so this design is close or better.
I'm not so sure the seat looks all that comfortable
but that is a cool bike 👍👍
That killer version is sweet! 👍👍
Stunning!
Pretty sweet want one!
Wow love it....
I want one in Italy!!
I'm close to buying one. Won't need to change a thing for it'll be mostly off-road. In the mountains of Wyoming and Montana..
الأخص اللون الاسود ابداع❤❤❤❤❤
So, are these Yamaha PG-1 modified versions available for purchase anywhere?
It's dorky and still Cool 👍
I hope they bring it to the UK.
😍👍
Yamaha should just flood the market with them,They'll make money in volumes.
I dig it. Are these coming to the US?
Na faixa de 2.000 a 2.500 US irá estourar de vender no Brasil, acorda Yamaha
Holy shit, this reminds me of a 21st century version of the old Honda S-90!
The right direction. Now make a 400cc.
Twin ..??
I’d argue it’s already there. 100MPG, low maintenance, urban commutes, local transport and lightweight adventures. If you need more horses and wish to spend more on fuel then
Royal Enfield Scram 411?
Nobody needs gauges? How about an odometer?
IF ONLY IT WAS 250CC!! would be perfect
That acid trip music is messin with my brain..lol, im out.😳
Mirrors at the end of the bars?
That's not for trailing. That's for people who want to pose at the coffee shop.
Dropping the bike, obviously isn't in the plans.
Basically what this bike is, a poser machine that will only impress other metro sexuals. Slap a 125cc 2-stroke motor in that bitch and some real suspension like the old school Hodaka Super Rat. You may now think that I am a genius, but I'm just a regular guy, carry on.
It will be an Actual Killer if they sell it in Europe. I'm sure it will sell very Well.
Looks nice, but even smaller engine than the Honda CT. Doesn't look like it has the ability or capacity to haul like the honda either.
Is this in Canada
only asia bro
I like'em both ways. Personally prefer the factory original though.
It looks cool, but I seriously doubt it has the power to scramble
Countries in Asia and Africa use crappy little bikes to scramble through anything
@@bobjohnson1633 I've traveled in China and Tibet. It is remarkable how capable small bikes are. I wouldn't call them crappy though.
How much,?
Where is kick starter on this "killer"? How to start it in cold weather? With Low Battery?
The stock version still have, it's just because on this video mainly talking about the modification lel
Charge the battery…..
Not in US, correct?
Когда он появится в продаже ??? И где его можно будет заказать ??
It is half the price of the Honda Trail and with the new upswept exhaust it is probably a better option than the Honda, a big bore kit is needed to take it up to 150cc - 190cc then you will have an amazing little all-purpose machine, it would sell very well in the north America with turning their backs on the Harley Davidson and overweight trail machines from japan,
If you want more power ,buy bigger…..
The genius' at Yamaha will not bring this to the US. Just like Honda won't bring a CT 125 decked out as a scrambler style bike to the country.
Idk I got the trail .. if they don’t bring too us we can’t compare it properly
I can't see not burning my leg on that exhaust. I'd think it would be better to route it under the engine.
It’s so weird I want one.
So much cool lingo but doesn't tell the price
Looks 10 X Time's better like scrambler
Still not a CT Honda challeng
I hate these horrible reviews! They just read off the manufactures list and create a colorful video with absolutely no useful or meaningful information!
How did the bike handle dude???
What a joke!
All these posts about this bike are BS it's not coming to the U.S.
Don't see the point of this video as this bike will never come to north america, too bad.
Or UK
If it had a little more power, it would outsell the Honda... Sadly, neither are quite "enough" to make them practical street transportation.
Larger rear sprocket
I called several Yamaha dealers in Houston, Texas area and was surprised that they never heard of this bike. I wanted to order two of them and they are NOT in the U.S. yet or maybe not at all ! A waste of time advertising bikes on You Tube that are not even available in the U.S. ! CLICK BAIT CRAZINESS !
Only available in Asian markets, bro
You realize the rest the world also buys bikes, right?
You’re the one that thinks everyone should speak English and international travel is going to Cancun, right?
Guess they don't watch you tube.
This sounds like you’re using an AI language model.
Talk about low T.
Honda killer 😂😂😂 come on 🤦♂️
🤣🤣 Honda is going to sue Yamaha for this copycat bike. 🤣
I hate it!
Yamaha is always second fiddle and late to the party nothing new here no matter what Honda will outsell them by miles
Now make it available to the US market 🙂
No thanks, I'll take the factory original over that garbage any day.
So this isn’t about a PG-1 at all, it’s about a kayspeed………….
Maybe title it that way. Also the audio skips. Fix that.
