I was sitting at my computer and as the National Anthem started I could hear my Dad saying, 'We ALWAYS stand for the National Anthem!' and stood up. God bless y'all and God bless those families who paid their own price right along with their soldier loved ones.
I served for 20 years, been to Arlington, The Iwojima memorial, and the Vietnam wall and I can honestly say this is one of the most amazing places I've ever seen. I was moved and felt so much. Thank you so much for this. I hope one day I can see this place in person. Thank you to all who made this place possible and the greatest thank you to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, you will never be forgotten.

Beautiful view there. Love it. My late dad was a Corporal in Korea Conflict in 1952 to 1954. He was a Veteran. He died in 2019. I still miss him. My parents adopted me. I never knew my biological parents. Im only deaf in the family. Its hard life being deaf. No one support me. I work so hard to help my mom who is 90 yrs old and my son . My son has stomach problems for 3 yrs and have been keep eye on him. Hes only 37 yrs. old. I have 4 grown sons.

That's an extensive memorial for just one county. I've seen large states do less. I'm always most impressed by the more organic sites set up by local cities, counties and veterans organizations who know their service members and their families and the sacrifices they've made. 🇺🇲

Ron, thank you so much for filming this tribute for Memorial Day. I cried through the whole thing like I did yesterday before our race. I am so grateful for the lives that were lost for our freedom. My father was in the Army as well as my uncle. My ex was a Marine and we spent 4 years at Camp Pendleton. My cousin we just lost last week and he was a retired Lieutenant Commander in the Navy. We can never repay the ones who sacrificed everything for our country. Thank you for filming this. The painted rock was amazing. Have a great Memorial Day.

Thank you Ron. We have a small flag avenue where we live, almost a half mile both sides. Each flag carries a dog tag of a lost one . These are sponsored by a family or friend and go up in the same spot each year. The flag line grows significantly each year.
