I watched on live and it was so raw and emotional but something about this angle, seeing Dan watch you. You can tell just by his face how much he enjoyed the experience as well! That was so special. Wow, you did an awesome job of keeping it together to get your baby crying...I've seen so many moms start going absolutely bonkers when their babies don't scream the instant their born. And here you were handling a more serious situation calmly and practically...though I am certain your heart was in your throat the whole time!

I originally watched your birth live & now recorded. Your birth live was beautiful, but your editing caught things like Dan holding your hand @ the end that I don't remember seeing. Little touches like that made your video so much more heartwarming.
It was especially hard for me to see how long it took to get your baby breathing. I had an experience where 1 of my boys was born with his cord wrapped around his neck twice, so he was blue when he delivered & it seemed like forever before I heard him cry. Of course the tears were flowing both times when you delivered.
I think that your baby was telling you that YOU are the rock star. You did so well! YOU were amazing mama!!

I watched this live and I felt like it took forever to get him breathing and crying and to keep him breathing and crying. I was holding my breath with him. Congratulations!
You guys were very calm. I would of freaked out! ESP when he came out and was so white and didn’t cry for a min !!
I couldn’t help but burst into tears when she pulled him up on her chest and again when he started to cry. I just gave birth to my first baby nine weeks ago and I’ll never forget that moment when I first heard him cry. Congrats to you and your family, he’s so gorgeous! ❤️

This is the most chill l&d I've ever seen. I'm a mom of 7 and i scream like someone's killing me when I'm in labor its intense af. But im a wuss when it comes to pain of any kind.

You were so calm when he was born and took so long to cry! I was immediately scared when I saw he was so pale and limp. My youngest inhaled meconium at birth though so I guess I'm a little traumatized from that 😬 I'm glad your baby ended up being fine though. You were amazing! Such quiet and calm pushing I would never have known you were literally about to give birth.

Such a beautiful birth! Good job mama and baby! Im 26w with #3 and I’ve never experienced my water breaking. Dr has always had to do it for me and once that happens all heck breaks lose. I’ve got a feeling that’s not how this birth is going to go and my hospital is 45 minutes away. Never thought to suck the baby’s nose with my mouth but I will definitely keep that knowledge in the back of head incase this birth doesn’t happen at the hospital! Congrats mama! 🥰

Thanks for sharing. It's these kinds of videos that came in handy so I knew just what to do when I delivered a friends baby out bush last week. We didn't have a suction bulb but he responded well to having his face wiped downwards.
I went and watched the live first. Your team was so calm but those first couple of minutes after he was born were so intense and even though I knew he was healthy it was scary. You did so well Lex!
