I wish I could have tried more styles, but I really couldn't think of any! I did mini twists on my hair with beads and those turned out great. Maybe you can try the same style on mini braids? Here's a link to that video.

They are beautiful, but many of us confuse mini braids with many braids. Mini is another name for micro

I wore my hair the first way at work office building and my direct supervisor said in front of a visiting group of white people, “oh my god why is your hair like that, ...” I don’t even remember how I respond. He is a pale Spanish person and looks white definitely passes and speaks white. Idk what to do or how to respond to that type of shit. It can make you so angry.
That's the type of stuff that makes so many Black women afraid of wearing their hair a certain way. We are making progress, but I dream of a day where we won't be shamed or stared at for a hairstyle--especially one that is very simple.

Lol it’s an old shirt that was a gift from my mom. I think she got it from JC Penny when the first Superman movie came out 🤣
