This show has made me cry more times than I'd like to admit. The acting is so superb that you genuinely feel for the characters. I don't want to see it end😩
Me too but I know it’s not real. Doesn’t bother me, I just enjoy the fabulous acting. They’re all great, a lot of them are British and you can’t even tell, June’s husband is and so is Serena.

I agree 💯 It’s the best series I’ve ever seen. There is not 5 minutes of the show that was wasted or could be cut. Every second is used so well. The acting is incredible, soundtrack phenomenal, editing, directing, costume design superb! I also have never cried so much. It’s actually very cathartic. I think I cried tears that had been buried since I was 4 years old. 👏
The most incredible thing about Elizabeth is that she was invited to be an actress and now she is so involved in it thar she produces and directs it too.
She was raised in it. Her parents and siblings are also scientologists. I imagine this is probably a wake up call for her but getting out isn't as easy as it seems. She'd never be able to talk to any of her family again. I can't imagine growing up like that.
Ms. Moss´ personality is definitely different than June's personality on the show. I think she is brilliant, and I agree this show is a Masterpiece. Ms. Moss is just precious! Standing ovation to this production series. I wouldn't miss any episode!

Just watched episode 6 and I though Serena was going to make that move after that lady she is staying with seemed as if she wanted her child. What a great show.
The best show I think I've ever watched. I didn't know season 6 was the last!! I hate when shows end!! Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Son's Of Anarchy, to name a few that I was sad to see end. I guess they can't go on forever... I'm waiting for season 7 of Outlander!
My better half and I had to choose what to binge watch, "Handmaid" or "Dahmer." We chose "The Handmaid's Tale" because we watch right before bedtime and thought it would be less scary. WRONG!
Like a president from beginning of term to end of term you see the mileage Offred/June has put on Elisabeth. She's still top tier gorgeous in my book but you can tell she's put allot of herself into that role. That's one thing I don't think most people appreciate from actors that dive into a role like this. You become that person for however long the show runs then you have to turn it off and try and remember who you were. I commend her for what she's done and how hard she's worked to make one of the best shows ever come to life. From being behind the camera to being in front of it she rocks at all levels.
June's story is getting boring. I'm so sick of her "kill bill" glowering close ups and this back and forth with Serna. End the freaking the story already and let's get into the stories of the OTHER characters... Janine, Hanna, Aunt Lydia and now Esther..

It's a truly insightful series which gives us a look at what the future should never be. It's warnings about oppression are clear, and we as the human race now have a blue print of what signs to watch out for. Commander Lawrence makes a statement about unestimating the depravity of religious zealots, and as you look around our world it is indeed true. We have to keep a lid on subverted expressions of "God", and this show amplifies how these perversities can manifest. We have to clean them out. One such example has been the Duggars, and the way Josh Duggar's sickness and depravity were hidden, as he blithely went around speaking for motherhood and Apple pie. While all along, he is feasting on various forms of sexual depravity. The show is superbly crafted, and the acting is fantastic. Thank you to all the producers and directors for their clear and concise warnings about what to watch for!!👍

Love love LOVE Handmaids tale!!! But I have to say... Serena finally figured out that she's a handmaid (minus the work). She's been acting very weird this season, I could tell something was definitely up between her & the 2 commanders. I figured Serena wasn't going to shoot June since there was no one around... it was all kind of obvious... to me anyways... I think that shes gonna strike a deal with June now.. they will work together to get June daughter back and for Serena to get back to the US with her own baby. I didn't read the books.. but it's kind of predictable at this point
I just read about a fundamentalist Christian community in NJ called the People if Hope in 1975. The author based Gilead in this group. Why? Probably because the women in the group were called the Handmaiden's if God. Reading the article it answered what I had heard Margaret Atwood say, that she based the book on what she knew had already happened around the world at the time she wrote the book!💡💡💡

A very good series. I watched all of the seasons on Hulu. But it saddens me that Elisabeth Moss is a Scientologist. Gilead is no different than Scientology. Good thing that Leah Remini saw the light to get out of it.

It's insane she's a scientologist and she did this role. She's absolutely amazing and she did a great job, I hope she sees it in real life to.

The book basically ended at the end of season 1. None of what’s in the show this season was in the book.

I thought the 5th season would be the end I was trying to figure out how they would manage to wrap it up in just a couple episodes.
