Thank you!! I'm so glad you mentioned it! I just happen to film my intro at around the same time of day every time 😅❤️ I was a bit worried it didn't look great, but I'm so glad you like it!! 🥹💜💗💙
When I use my solid non-stick putty gel, I find I can layer it! If my apex is too shallow, I can add a ball of gel and blend it into the rest once I reapply my base coat. (just in case, for strength). It works a treat! I love LOVE love using this stuff for putting on tips AND making a full nail with my duoforms. In fact, I have abandoned polygel (toothpaste like viscosity) entirely. I rarely even use builder gel anymore because this stuff is even better for encapsulation too! MUCH easier to control - I mean, yes it doesn't self level as per se, but a nice light sanding takes care of that - and the top coat can help with that too. Thank you for showing a super nice and adaptable experiment, I enjoyed it very much. I love your little monologues too! Keep up the great work luv!
For big gems placement - put a tiny bit of glue, add the large gel, flash cure in place so it doesn’t slide around. THEN add more glue and add smaller beads x
I have the same nail glue from Temu and applied some clear full cover tips with black french already applied and it's so adorable 😊 When i went to remove I was able to pop off a couple leaving just the aurora glue on my nail and it was so beautiful I decided to try it with duel forms in the future and make a mermaid set🤗 Im glad I stumbled across your video to see how it's gonna play out ❤
BP is a hard gel while the other brand is a soft gel. That’s the difference you’re explaining 😊I haven’t tried this yet. It’s very thought about it… glad to see you do it! Beautiful 💜
This set is amazing. As soon as I seen this I went to Temu and ordered that gel 😂 well 8 added it to my cart 😂 definitely picking it up 8n my next order
Thank you SO much for recommending a thick rhinestone glue that can handle charms! I saved it to my "trusted supplies" list. 😊 Just today I couldn't get a lollipop to stay on, I had to flash cure it immeDiately while holding it, it was a mess! Thanks.
This isn’t really related to this video; but I’d love to see your collection of nail supplies, including charms and glitters! I’d love the same for your jewelry making supplies too!
YAY! I'm so glad you took my suggestion 😊. I have been so excited for this idea I just don't have the products. Can you do a video on removal of hard gel ?
Thank you!!! 🥹💜 I use the Jello jello peel off base coat, so I use the "one kill gel remover" to remove them. But, if I don't use that, I file them down a bit and then soak them off for 15 mins with 100% acetone (I made a video showing how I do it if you need some better instructions 😅💜) 🥰💗🫶
Watching ur vids makes me wanna try gel polish for the first time! I kinda wanna get a nail tips extension and what do you recommend? Also if u dont apply base coat and top coat, does that work too? 😂 Plus how is ur daily life doing with those long ahh nails i cant even pick my coin if it drops to the floor with long nails 😭
Omg, yes!! Definitely get a kit with some short-medium tips and make sure to use the top and base coaaatt 😂❤️ I'd say you could get a beetles or saviland kit from Amazon, they are both great! I have that checklist of supplies I made linked in the description, make sure that you get all those things if you're planning on doing ittt because most kits don't come with everything 😉 also, you will totally get used to the length. I don't even notice it anymore 😂 I'd recommend getting some medium tips and starting off by cutting them short and working your way up 😜
Hey gurl! They look super amazing 🎉 u are slaying it all ❤ can i just suggest trying placing the bigger stone an flash curing it in place 1st, then add ur other smaller ones, that might make it easier 🤔 also i love the different rings u wear 🤩 can i ask where u buy them from, I've brought a few from Temu for my daughter's and I, so far they have seemed good quality, obviously not Tiffany or similar, quality 😂 i have also brought some Moissanite rings very glittery but haven't been game enough to wear them yet 😅😢 love from Australia
That's an amazing tip!! I really should have done that 😅😭💜 Ans thank you!! They're all from either TJmax, Etsy, or Temu! I found that the ones from temu are actually really great! I also have a Moissanite one from them, I love it so much, it's so sparkleeeyy 😆✨💜💜
I know this is a nail video but your shirt is soooo cute ❤. I'm still having a hard time with these putty things... but practice makes perfect, (or perfect-ish in my case lol).
I use the solid gel for my nails always but I use full cover tips instead of the dual forms. I like it so much more because they give me a better apex. I also use the stilettos but I form them as i make them into an almond shape. I guess I make mine thicker, except for the cuticle, of course. Mine are super strong and I have never broken a nail, well, not the gel part anyway😂. Solid nail gel saved my nail game.
Do you do the lazy girl method (leave the full cover tip on, but then this would basically be just "gel-x" method, but since that's a copyrighted thing by apres , we need an actual general term for using gel to glue a full cover tip on, lol) or do you use it like the "poppit" method, where the full cover tip is removed after curing (I do this with hard gel, and acrygel, but I'd think solid gel glue would stick to the full cover tips, especially since she has issues with even the dual forms. :/). But if you mean the 'poppit' method, I'm def. Interested in how you get this to work, this sounds awesome! As I agree, you get a much nicer nail formed from full cover tips than most dual forms!
@unboundbytiffany I'm sure you have found a way to do this already as I am late to the game but I make sure to use PLASTIC (NOT GEL) FULL COVER TIPS and slap a lil cuticle oil in before building. Otherwise they are a b#$@ to "pop" off.I love this cuz I get the form of a tip(rather than dual form) and it's pretty much a one and done.I buff(just to scratch the surface a bit) and topcoat and I otd!!
You knowww, I thought about that. But I figured that since it's solid and not sticky, you wouldn't need the alcohol 🤔 you could definitely try it out tho!
Please forgive me if you've already mentioned it, but where did you find those gorgeous aurora rhinestones? I didn't see a link for them in the description and they are a must have!
I don't know if you've answered this already. But how long do your nails last with the jello jello? I'm new to your channel and you're awesome! ❤ Love all your videos!
Aww thank you!!! 🥹💗🩵💜🩷 And that's a good question! I usually remove them every week to film a new video 😂 But there's usually no lifting! I think with jello jello the longest I had them on was 2 weeks before removing them 🩷
“While that one is baking..” 🍪 that cracked me up. Beautiful set! ✨ Edit: You definitely didn’t do the application wrong! You need to go in with a builder/hard gel, acrylic or even polygel over that aurora gel to give the nail structure. You can see when you turn your nails to the side that there’s virtually no apex and that’s not good especially with the length you’ve chosen. I’m glad you went in with the acrylic! It probably saved these beautiful nails from snapping off 😂
girl you have been eating down on these sets. do you like the ballerina or croquette nails? i think you could pull those off but with a twist yknow. 😂❤
First of all, THANK YOU! ☺️❤️❤️ ALSO, I've never heard of that second shape but I should totttaaallyyy try both those shapes! I need to start experimenting more 😤🫶💜
What a shame to put on false nails your natural nails are really pretty too 😍but I can see how much you take care of them because I’ve never seen a person technician to have such healthy nails so yea carry on with your fab work 😉❤️
I loved this tutorial. But saying an air bubble is fine… No! You do your nails like once a week or more for content. But for clients or just someone like me who do my own gel nails and only get time to do it once a month some times… An air bubble is just not ok. Anyways not hating here, I’m actually subscribing. Just don’t let people think it’s ok for every case.
Im so confused. You are great at doing nails and are struggling so much. Im absolutely horrible at doing nails and I make the sweetest sets with non stick and duel forms super easily. Also no need to roll into a snake.
hey queen I know you watch Emily Susannah, did you see her newest video of using those mini resin kits for mail designs? The whole time I watched I thought about how good you’d do at it!! I TRIPLE DAWG DARE YA! 😉
U can cure first colour then add second colour works great xx if there a bit thin I just add layer of clear builder gel xx
I love the aesthetic of the light pattern in your intro. I notice you do this often and I keep meaning to say that it looks so great!
