    Probably the best drama series of all time. Barry Morse as Gerard was absolutely brilliant.
    There is an episode where Kimble finds a witness to the one armed man running from his house, and is going to turn himself in. But the prosecution finds a flaw in the character in the witness, and Gerard allows the defence lawyer to know this, even though he didnt have to. In effect he was tipping Kimble off not to turn himself in.
    The character of Gerard did evolve and his attitude to Kimble softened and his doubts about Kimble's guilt subtly changed and evolved.

    Darn, you left out the best line from "The Evil Men Do" - Gerard differentiates between Arthur Brame and Kimble - "One was a killer....the other one, Kimble, he's done the one murder he'd probably ever do," but stated with little conviction that Kimble in fact ever killed anyone - the great dynamic of the series (the respect between Kimble and Gerard and the doubts that gnaw at Gerard) illustrated

    • @scottmiller6495
      @scottmiller6495 5 лет назад +5

      Many times in this series there were hints and moments when Girard had his doubts about Kimball, to the point of almost believing him. Of course in the final two episodes he does finally believe him!!!!!
