That's one outstanding roof. How peaceful will you sleep with the sound of rain on the metal roof. Oh, loved the shot of the ladder on the ground. Hee! Hee!
Lol you were keeping us in suspense at the beginning of your video....😁😁😁😁 Whoa!!!! When you were up on top of your roof, had me swaying....I am afraid of heights!!!!!!😳😳😳😳
Lol, heights don't bother me.... Well unless my fat butt has to jump because there is no ladder, rain on the way and Tiffany is 4 hours away..... Ya know 😳
Nice looking roof! Oh my gosh it is a good thing you had your phone and didn’t have to wait for Tiffany to come home, she could of had to work over and you would have been stuck up there and when she got home she’d be wondering where you were!
Good looking roof, glad to hear that you had your cell phone with you otherwise you might have had to spend the night looking at the stars from your new roof 😀
Here I am thinking that you were just enjoying the sight of that new roof. I love all the extra little steps that you take to ensure your family is safe when the weather gets real bad.
I had something similar happen to me. I was on my roof at 2:00 a.m. servicing my a/c because it was freezing up from the fan motor going out. I had my garden hose up there with me and I pulled the hose to get more slack and when I did it knocked the ladder down. I have a two story house. Luckily I had my cell phone. My wife worked nights at the time so I couldn’t call her. Luckily my 12 year old son answered the phone, he was in the house sleeping. He came out and set the ladder up. If he didn’t not sure what plan B was. Long story short, I know the feeling. Enjoy all of your content and attention to detail. Good luck.
I subscribed to your channel because of the 4066r review (ended up buying a Massey 1760m), but you're becoming my favorite channel on youtube even 1500 miles north and never going to build a barn house hehe !
I like how you share everything to us in these videos :) Even an issue like this with the ladder makes others think so we don't get into a situation like that. On the good side at least it was not raining and you got to sit back enjoy the view of your homestead and relax for a little while. I bet the four legged Foreman was not happy that you got stuck up there when it was time for his snack :)
Here in Texas thats call an Ag Panel with the double ridge. I think it has more strength and stability than the R Panel has.. Either way your roof looks great and I love the galvanized color to help keep the heat down inside.
“Ummmm Hooooonnneee? Can you come over to the barn for a minute. Oh, no reason... I just want to see you! No really, there’s nothing wrong, mom COURSE I’m OK honnneeeeey! I loooooove youuuuu!!!!”
Another plus with the pre layout & drilling holes for the roofing screws is all of the screws are in perfect lines. We all know perfectly laid out lines make our inner OCD smile 😁
So my one question about this entire video is this: How long did your oh so kind and helpful wife tease you about the ladder getting knocked over before she put it up for you?
Well that's the good part, I was alone and she 4 hours away from being home. I called a friend and spent 1 hour sitting up there pondering life's deepest questions 🤔
My Dad had the ladder fall once when he was on the roof of the house. They lived way out in the country. Thank God the guy down the road seen him while driving by. He didn't own a cell phone.
I was just about in that situation, almost left my phone in the tractor. It was going to be another 4 hours before Tiffany got home. Plus rain was on the way.
Help my ladder has fallen and I can’t get down ... safely haha. Sorry was soooo funny seeing that ladder on the ground. Had a serious question but I’ll wait. House is looking great. Sorry one more, I bet Tiffany laughed her self silly. Too good
Hi, Andrew! Sorry I am having to watch a day after you posted the video. Yesterday was a busy one at my house. So sorry you got stuck up on the roof. It looks great and sturdy! Now you are “in the dry” as my dad used to say meaning he and his employees could work even on rainy days. I love your home.
