Never saw such a healthy earthworm in my whole life.
That's definitely a decent sized earthworm but what impressed me the most was that the kookaburra didn't break it pulling it out ✌️♥️🇭🇲
Kookaburras are a wonderful bird I had a family where I lived in outer North West
Sydney, each Morning they would tap on the kitchen windows for breakfast.😊❤

are we sure this isn't one of the many types of snakes or leg-less lizards in Australia? I really can't tell if it's smooth or scaly like a reptile. so cool and a little odd something so big is quietly lurking right below the surface.

Apart from earthworms, what do they eat? That beak looks like a sing of a highly predatory diet. Kinda reminds me of the "Martin Pescador" a fishing bird we have in my country.
