It was the same at (The) Lidl when I worked there back in the late 90s-early 00s; pressure from management backed up by league table stats of your average speed compared to the rest of the staff in their office. You could cheat the system by hitting subtotal in anticipation of any time gap to give the poor customers a chance to catch up/help them out, but the till receipt ended up a mile long as a result of all the seemingly unnecessary subtotals.

As with many other commenters, I've just discovered this chap and I've now binge watched so many of his videos. I love the 'Greeters Guild' ones and I wasn't sure how the character would transfer over to stand-up. At first I wasn't too sure, but as the video went on it got just funnier and funnier. You're energy is brilliant and you have a great mix of styles - wordplay, accents and cringe-comedy (which I love). I really hope this recent surge in interest in your videos/channel does you well as I think your rather unique style stands out in the crowd of comedians. Good luck

Might of been a hit this character in the 90s when character comedy was at it height. Its out of date now and not particularly funny too like all the acts at the Hot Water Comedy club. People think that Liverpool is a hot bed of comedy talent well sadly its not. And these people also think that all people from Liverpool haves a great sense of Humour which is sadly not true.
