I appreciate your perspective. I read Jesus and the Essenes by Delores Cannon. It is a fascinating story by one of her clients who would have no knowledge of life from those times. Yeshua might have been an Essene, but i agree with your feelings that he rejected what they wanted him to do.

I have a picture of Yeshua sitting alone reflectively singing, "look what they've done to my song..." The "Jesus creation by the Church and various sects organizations and "scholars" all have particular agendas. That's why I refer back to his original theme ... "We are love... be love!"

We loved this video and appreciated what you have to say.
As someone who took hypnotherapy training ages ago from a guy who specialized in past life regression and other far out things - I have a perspective on what you have to say about Doloras Canon.
First - If someone puts in time to learn a craft what does it matter if s/he did not get a college degree? There were many geniuses who did not go to college yet invented fabulous things.
As for Ms. Canon - It's been almost 30 years since I read any of her books. What you describe - the hypnotherapist asking leading questions and fishing for specific things - is absolutely not "THERAPY", as you say. And, I'm inclined to agree that's what she did based on vague memory of what I read way back when.
We were taught to follow the story in its natural unfoldment. The patient complaining of, say, a rash that feels like fire, you don't lead the hypnotherapy session towards a past life where they burned in a fire. Instead, you ask - what do we need to know to understand this symptom - or take us to the beginning of the situation. And, wherever the subconscious takes us, that's where we go, without judgment or forcing to fit some expectation.

There was an Italian woman in the mid 20C who penned "Poem of the Man God" written in the present tense giving a ringside account of being present with Jesus. For the life of me only having my phone to browse at the moment I can't find the section but she describes a meeting at which Jesus is being pressured to accept the nomination to become a political leader and he rebukes them straight up as having no idea of what he is about. She describes Jesus exiting the meeting and bumping into John of Old, who had swum to the estate and whose clothes were still damp, to peek and listen to what was going on, with Jesus downloading his sense of exasperation to John of Old that they still didn't get it.
PS. Found the reference. Essenes not mentioned in the account at all, but a group of associates of Chouza, steward of Herod. Which seems to align with other videos wherein you say there was no interaction between the group and Essenes, meaning it is an insertion of Essenes into a different story as you say.

I did a bit more digging on Jesus being offered the Crown and it is briefly alluded to in John Ch6:15 "Since Jesus knew that they were going to come and carry him off to make him king, ...". Now in the context this is usually read as if 'they' is referring to the crowd just fed in the miracle of loaves and fishes as if by popular acclaim. However 'they' "were going to come..." which points to someone else. The 'they' were a group of about 40 associates of Chouza, the steward of Herod Antipas, like a Chief of Staff today. Chouza was probably dissatisfied with Herod's treatment of him and basically wanted to organize a coup against Herod, with Jesus as the new king, still a client king of Rome rather than a revolutionary act to throw off Roman rule which was the Essene political goal. So another reason why dragging the Essenes into this story is new age fancy. The meeting in Chuza's country villa was mid August about eight months before the crucifixion on Fri April 23, 34AD (in today's calendar). The location of the villa was on the southern shore of Sea of Galilee, not far from the Beit Gabriel Cultural Center is now.

And a little on whether this work refers to Essenes. There is only one reference when the whole group was just north west of the Dead Sea, near the site of Jericho, about a year before the crucifixion and describes Jesus looking quite glorious then preaching the parable of the unfaithful servant, in great detail. It describes some Pharisees observing plus another group on a rise dressed in white whom are identified as Essenes by Bartholomew and Judas. The work records Peter saying "And so that makes one more henhouse of hawks!". Thus by this account (from the Akashic record let's say) the group had nothing to do with the Essenes and presumably turned up seeing they were based at Qumran in the vicinity. Theologically the Essenes might be described as Calvinists i.e. they were extreme in their belief that there was no such thing as free will. This is all public domain knowledge. Again surely this runs counter to what Jesus taught and in this account referred to there is an extensive discussion back and forth between Jesus and one of the Essenes in particular who at the end strips off his white Essene gown and asks to be a disciple of Jesus who names him Elijah and suggests he lives as a hermit in the caves, and asks Veronica, the lady who accompanies Jesus on his path to Calvary but lives near Jericho to attend to him.
Long story and is it true? Probably more so than Dolores Cannon and Theosophists but it does align with the comments about the Essenes which John of New has made before and here, that the group avoided them and had little in common.

Fascinating stuff!! It's interesting to me how there seems to be a human tendency to try to name and create leaders ... to find someone else to follow ... to put the responsibility of leadership onto someone else. Maybe because being a leader seems a bit scary? Maybe we'd rather avoid having to rely on our own self for direction-- better to find a Messiah? Maybe the responsibility seems too great, and we don't want to have to blame ourselves for what happens-- after all, we were just following someone else's direction.
And yet, what greater freedom could there be than becoming our own leader and making our own decisions based on what we believe? Maybe we just need to remember that it's ok to make mistakes, to learn and move on. How else does one mature into a reliable, loving and forgiving old soul ... someone who really knows how to look back, laugh and see the fun in all of it, and to bless everyone else along the way. We're all in it together. Love will lead the way. It's all already inside of us ... how convenient! 👍

There is No Evidence at all that John the Baptist was an Essene that is a New Age construct with no evidence to back it up. Did Jeshua get Baptized by John? The bible says so but ten bible is written long are Jeshua was teaching (70-200 years after according to Scholars) by Judaic sects with an apocalyptic and messianic agenda. I highly doubt it but I too have no way to validate so I won'y claim it.

That being said, I'm about to jump into the Book of Mormon just to see what it says out of curiosity. Whether it's true or not - Not gonna touch that with a 50 foot pole hahaha!!! The attraction that the gospel of the Essenes brings to people is the fact that it balances the masculin with the feminine and rejects the patriarchal view of the bible gospels. If people see some new truth in any teaching then they tend to believe the rest of the teaching without questioning the rest. 🙃

I am starting to believe Jeshua teaching came from Asia in which he and his family did travel to Asia when Jesha was a teenager ( 13 ? ) . Alot of Jeshua's teaching was about love , peace , and forgiveness .
What i have learned today that Donald Trump was once an Asian Priest who was an alcoholic. Today , Trump doesn't touch alcohol and he's always talking about peace , especially when comes to war . . People ( Priests ) from Asian Religions always talk about peace . I am pretty sure that eating meat was a rarity in those days, unless you were wealthy. Peter, being a fisherman, must have been doing well financially, since his customers would have come from a better off demographic. It seems plausible to me that fish would have actually been the only meat available for the average consumer, and red meat would have been reserved for special occasions. Thanks for confirming for me the idea that the offer to be a king, one of the temptations, was actually an ongoing issue and temptation, not a one time event.

Thanks, John, Edgar Cayce made some predictions that never came true. The one I read on was that Atlantis would be discovered in 1970, never happened. Now, whether that was an error coming from , as you put it, various filters based on an individuals beliefs, upbringing, culture, etc, so was it this, or was it made up, I dont know. But I keep a distance from those who make predictions because if there is free will, how can a future be set in stone? And most predictions are gloom and doom, and this sells books big time. Just like many christian authors, like Mary Stewart Relfe, whose book, "when Your Money Fails", (1983) predicted that in 1989, Russia would nuke the US from DC to Boston, or Hal Lindsey authored a number of books predicting the Rapture, all failed. But people go for all this, but yet fail to understand, inspite of what goes on in the world, we still control our own lives by means of thoughts, words and actions. People, never mind the "prophets" stick to the Now, Be Love, Act Love, this is how you change the world, Love and Peace.

Baptism in the past was to drown an adult person and have them have an experience of life and death and see if they go to heaven or hell and change their life... some continue doing it in some places. Of course you can achieve the same with DTM or ayahuasca something more powerful. They come back improved.... so there is regressions and life and dead experiences, DMT, ayahuasca.... its real you can have it all, but the best that can happen to you is a master like Josua meet one... i meet one small one in a lifetime and change the most in that lifetime for the better of me and other... later in other lifetime meet others more powerful and change me more for the better and so on. Its real power and real happiness.
