Hi, hope you are doing good! We have dual write intigration. The sales order line details address fast tab in F&O sales orders is taken as the bogas(not available in data) country code for the customer address when sales order push from CE to F&O is made. Kindly advise where we can check?
Hi! Well, that depends on your setup really. In general, F&O handles delivery addresses for orders as following: 1) If we have a single customer address against a customer account, F&O will pick it as delivery address of the sales order 2) In case of multiple addresses, F&O will pick up address with ‘Address purpose’ as ‘Delivery’ 3) In case of multiple addresses with ‘Address purpose’ as ‘Delivery’, F&O will pick the first created one In the documented version of the Sales Order Details map, there is a mapping for msdyn_isdeliveryaddressspecific - I would look into that field to see if it impacts the chosen address in F&O. Hope this helps!
We have configured DualWrite for CRM Account to > F&O Customers. Our client is using F&O from long time and CRM from recent days, what we wants that some records which exists in F&O needs to be created in CRM. If he try to create record manually in CRM then Dualwrite create duplicate record in F&O . Please help what solution can be provided
Hi! For this purpose, you could use the "Initial Sync" feature when enabling the map. This feature makes sure that before enabling the integration, pre-existing records are synced across the two applications. If your dataset in F&O is too big to do this, you can also import the existing records in CE before enabling the DW map. In this case, you need to make sure that the CE records have the same values in the integration key fields than the ones in F&O. For Customers for example, this will be the combination of Legal Entity (Company) and the account number (CustAccount). If you wish to create the records manual in CRM, the same principle goes: make sure that the integration key fields (account number + company) have the same value as the F&O fields.
Hi Tino! As it says in the system requirements for Dual Write, it's required that F&O and CE are deployed in the same MS Azure datacenter - this rules out the possibility of using an on-premise F&O. You can read more about this on learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/dual-write/dual-write-system-req Hope this helps!
@@CegekaBusinessSolutions Thank you for your quick response! Unfortunately all the integration methods seem to involve cloud installations, which is why we're having a little trouble finding a solution that can be used to integrate an on-prem F&O with a cloud CE.

"Dual Write works on all cloud versions". But what if the D365FO is on-premise?
