Great content Yudi. Definitely keep it raw. I graduated in December and am going to ask for all those things with the companies :). I haven't even negotiated for a higher salary so far.
I have worked for several large companies over the years. I retired 12 + years ago. The last company I worked for I spent 6 months in the negotiation phase before I joined them. They had good benefits and they had a progressive benefit plan as well as stock buy in after 6 months. The salary was above the average for my position. I checked with some of their employees before accepting their offer. It was the best decision I ever made. When I retired, I was set financially for a comfortable life for my wife and me. My advice when looking for a company to join is know how they treat their workers, check the growth in the last 5 years, what is the track record in employee turnover. Make sure the benefit package meets your needs. Make sure you know what you are worth and that you can do the job before applying.

In India after clearing all the interview rounds, I tried to negotiate and asked for a higher salary than what they offered . Few days later in a follow up mail my HR said my offer letter is kept on hold and later the HR stopped returning my calls and mails.

Udi, but what if nobody is offering you anything, and then if someone (say a small firm/startup) is finally offering a job, then from where do we get the balls to negotiate any further on stocks/bonuses, etc. I felt rather overwhelmed when my company offered me a job when no one was entertaining me. And while accepting the offer, I was feeling rather insecure that if I bring up any bonus/stocks expectation, then that would make my employer frowned upon my hiring. The situation becomes more of a concern if the applicant is a fresher. How one should tackle such particular situation? An experienced person would be anyway knowing about what you have in your video from his/her experience and environment. I think you should rather address for people with less experience and who are in very limited position to negotiate on their offers.
There are so many things you advised us to negotiate. However, with one company, we cannot implement all of them, that would look greedy I guess. ALL of them look super important. How should we handle this? Love your videos.

Here, in India I cleared a coding test and did a tech interview and they were offering me a 6 LPA package. I said I'd want 7. They said they ll get back to me. It's been over 1.5 months now.

Hey!!! Great information!!! I had one question though. Do we give a strong reason to convince the employers to increase the salary package or do they assign more responsibilities if they agree to increase the base amount? Strong reason as in our capacity to work matching with our skills. For example: if I want an increment in my base amount, do I promise them more productivity or input then decided or is it simple negotiation without any assurance? Waiting for the reply.
