I went that same route in 2016 on the way south from my Ak and canada trip. Thought the worst thing about the road was the narrow spots with no shoulders. Drop a wheel off there and you could be in trouble. Spent 4 days/nights camping in Stewart waiting for the clouds to clear enough to get pictures of the overhanging glaciers. Facinating place and actually spent more time in northern Canada than Alaska and enjoyed it more. Great following along with you on your trip so thanks for the ride!
It has been one heck of a ride . We are now in Hyder but like Stewart better too. We’ll be here a couple of days then back on the roller coaster. 😁 Thanks for riding along with us. 😊
