    Just checking as I am using the same material when putting at right angles is it pretty sides together sorry am I newbie to sewing also the material frays easily so I would prob be better using my pinking when cutting across the sewn diagonal?

      yes,,,,right sides together,,,,,no dont pink accros the seam, just top stitch the seam allowance open, the raw edges on the join will be fully enclosed in the strap once its folded
