@@alohapigeons9440 brothers how are you?
my country name is Bangladesh
Iam in BangladeshI.
Sean, very nicely written and summed up ... I was waiting until you came out and explain your situation ... truly my feelings and thoughts are in line with yours ... yes, YB's season to tough for them ... with only 2 races from the island of Maui and 6 races from the island of Hawaii ... I believe the combine and its members should realign YB's season ... should have more races from Maui less from Hawaii ... also, I believe clubs should train more off island ... I think this method would reduce bird loses in the future ... thank you again for coming out and clarifying your MIA ... for all we hope you would return soon maybe in OB's season ... 🙏👍 take care my friend ... oh yea, is today 1st YB races ...

I'm still waiting for a new video. I miss the weekly video's so much :(

Pigeons are a breed that has evolved over millions of years
Why so little birds shipped? club shipping limit? I think one bird would take his time no matter what. in groups they fly harder
Hi mate, really enjoy watching the progress of your birds. Why no updates since race # 5? cheers Damian
Awesome video as always!👍
Thanks! Always trying to get better.
You have beautiful birds! Just subscribed.
@@alohapigeons9440 thanks!
Nice!... Even though he took a while to come back, he did pretty well on the Sheet. It was a tough race for all the birds as you said, so he didn't do too bad. And, he's hanging in there all by his lonesome! ;-)
This is true. He had another hard race yesterday. Came home today which is the second day.
Well crap! That kinda sucks. You need to move to the mainland and race in the SF Bay Area! Just a thought.. No water crossings here, just mountains.. ;-)
hello from Romania, waiting for new vids!

Missing your videos bro. Hope ur comeback
Can you show us his wings to see how his feathers are compartmentalized.. to see if he has a short, midlle, or long distance feathers structure.
If he makes it back from the race tomorrow, I will be sure to take a picture of his wings. Hope he makes it back. The race tomorrow is only 20 mile farther.
AlohaPigeons i hope he does and thank u.
Sean, are you breeding for the 2019 racing season? Some tough breaks in 2018 season. Thank you for posting your 2018 season.
Been five months no update. Come on!
You doing ok? How are the old birds and 2019 yb's doing?
Any new videos coming out soon
Well done Sean that bird is a superstar! Will be interesting to see if he comes faster when his eggs chip.
After reading your answer to another subscriber about the amount of time spent you spend with the birds I would advise you to maybe think about going into partnership with someone else to share the workload. I am very fortunate to have my son interested so its quite easy but to try and be competitive and keep the wife happy is almost impossible on your own!
You like many here in UK have experienced the worst year ever as far as losses go and this has driven myself and son to go into partnership with another local flyer. Again like you my son hates losing birds as it upsets him so he has decided he will breed the birds here at home and as babies move them over to my friends loft where myself and friend will race them.
There's always a way my friend.....hope you can find yours.
Looking forward to the next video.
Andrew
Great video...you should paint your loft rooftop red..
Good stuff!
The best aloha pigeons!!! I love racing pigeons!!!!!!
Thanks!
Not sure if you are checking these comments but wondering if you are not doing any videos anymore??
Pls new video
I just wanted to say "good luck, Sean" if you sending him da cape. Actually, he no need luck because he's an awesome bird!
Cuando harás otro vídeo?
Great vids man! I would like to do the same covering the members here in my state. Would luke to know what camera, editing program you use for the vids. Many thanks and continue with the great vids!
Where have you been and when are you gonna give us an update on the pigeons?
Have you experience smash bird losses when RIMPAC exercises was being held in Hawaii waters ... 😟
I use love this this channe.ontell he stop doin video.i wish he can come back.
bro update please
Viewing some past videos ... on the GPS tracking system ... wanted to view if birds have a constant fly zone to home ... sometimes they wonder off there fly zone ... but quickly settled in on there tracking system ... birds released what was there release times in between ... possible to short of a wait time maybe that’s why they caught up to each other ... ???? 😯 miss your videos ...
First ..... 😅 Terrific .... Placed 16th & 90 th out of 53 & 394 birds that's Great .... Very good placement .... need to improve clocked time. Bird seems very calm .... Doesn't show he's fatigue .... Looks good for next weeks race.
Maybe you can set up a bright orange tent in your yard .... Bird will easily recognize home ....
Good luck and speedy returns on next race ....
What breed is this bird?
Thanks! Actually, I'm not sure what breed the parents are.
AlohaPigeons : Hope your well this year, look forward to seeing a new video soon 👍
hey, are you still active on RUclips. I really enjoyed looking at your video's. do je maybe upload in the future?
Where is New movie?? We waiting for you!
Hey Bro,Anymore updates?
Congrats man. What clocking system are you using? Also, the bird may be taking his time because he needs more motivation. Do you keep him separated from the hens all week and show them before basketing or anything like that? We will have out first race tomorrow and hopefully dad gets some good returns.
tease him with the hen after holding her in a different loft befor basketing should get him going faster, worth a try
Thanks! I use the old Atis Top Benzing clock. I have not been keeping him separate only because him and his hen have a set of eggs that should be hatching soon. Best of luck on your race! Aloha, Sean
What places is your toss flights ... 😮
Aloha its been nearly a year now since you last made a video are you going to be making new videos
Hi Shaun I enjoy all ur videos and congrats for the race.
I live in Canada and im starting YBs racing next season and i was hoping for ur help to walk me through the light system u used on ur YBs and the lock down. over here in Canada becoz of the tough weather condition and the less sun light most of the flyers uses darkening system but i was hoping to do some different, to breed early and apply the light system. the YBs races start first of August so its early so i might just tweak the system to fit my time frame, and i know u had 2 rounds of YBs and how did u get them to the same stage before the race season. maybe u can make a whole video to explain about it coz its great content for new and old flyers to know. thx alot.
sry i spelled ur name wrong.....lol
I made a video about this but I gave a little more information than my mentor was comfortable with me sharing so I took it down. But essentially, you're extending the daylight in the loft with artificial light making the bird think it is summer which causes them to molt their primary flight feathers. Some flyers also pull the 9th and 10th primary flight feathers. I will refer you to these videos in regards to pulling flight feathers 1) ruclips.net/video/xwXkQ5PfddU/видео.html 2) ruclips.net/video/Nq84HqgkzU8/видео.html 3) ruclips.net/video/AFMPuht4liw/видео.html 4) ruclips.net/video/Ecflt1JoJAI/видео.html When you stop using the artificial light the birds think it's winter which causes them to molt their body. If you breed early enough, you will have birds that have completed their first molt. Hope that help a little without me getting in trouble. Aloha, Sean
thx for the help and i just wish these old guys will give more info to the young flyers but anyways ill keep my researches and ill tell u know my results for next year. in the mean while if u have any question u can ask me too. btw does the skyleader software works on ur PC coz on mine i cant use google maps to draw training records, the map is dark and says (for development purposes only)
This is a statement that Skyleader released in regards to this issue "Dear customer, The following is Google Maps Platform Important Updates: They’re announce the next generation of Google Maps business-encompassing streamlined API products and new industry solutions to help drive innovation. They began enforcing the use of API keys, effective June 11th 2018. Keyless usage will result in a degraded experience, or an error. With the launch of Google Maps Platform, we'll quickly get a valid API key and update service to fix issue with the background on Google Maps turning black which not affect the actual usage of skyleader program. Thank you for your support."
Darkness is a million times easier mate and it takes far less out of the birds s they are not growing new primary flights.
There's no advantages at all in lightness system so do yourself a huge favour and buy some blackout blinds, shut them down at 5pm and when you get up next morning pull them back up. Do this in March, April, May and June....job done.....simples!!
how are you sir?? no updates yet??
Love u bro hassam from pakistan
Thank you!
Sean, by chance do you have your 2019 OB’s season schedule ... can you send me a copy ... thanks ... 😯
hey how are you doing, i haven't seen your news for a long time... what's going on any new?
Hey Sean, How are your birds? I started with 60 birds for our season that starts the end of feb and I am down to 41. I couldn't imagine loosing all the birds you did this year. I hear Hawaii is a hard place to race. Hope you have a better season this year.
Hi Eric, great job with your birds! I’m glad to hear your season went well. I’ve been out of town for work for the last month so I won’t be able to fly young birds this year. But that’s okay. Wish you the best in the new year!
Aloha! It's been morethan 4mos. and still no video uploads. Hope everything is fine, hope to see lots of 2019 YB's soon. Take care man!
I have been wondering the same thing.. Hmmmm
Hope all is well we are getting worried
His good man..hard worker....bravo aloha
