  • Just like the title says- let's build big stuff!
How could I not resist that big Tarrasque? I couldn't.
The latest campaign from Archon looks like it'll have plenty of big and interesting PLASTIC miniatures as well!

Impressive figures aren’t they? I’ve got mine. I now have enough miniatures to build and paint for the next couple of years with this order alone 😂

Stuff like this is why I like your channel. oodles of other creators have gotten sponsorships and freebies from Archon to promote their wares, and I always come away from their videos with more questions than answers about what they are shilling.
But here, I get a full run down on several models, in various states of construction and the problems that could be encountered in building them, or how awesome they are to assemble. So as usual, thanks for what you do. Archon needs to sponsor your content because it is actually informative and not a half assed commercial that insults my intelligence. I will be sure as to say as much to them on discord, KS page and their live streams, because it is important to be recognized for the work we do and give credit where it is due.

Much appreciated. Archon put out nice stuff too. Not all of it is of my taste or use, which is a given since we all have different tastes and interests in our hobby, but they have continued to up their quality consistently over the years.
I'll admit I've been eyeing that new castle they put up, but I'm going to tackle the woods set next I think.

Started painting this Mega mound-o-plastic last week - great sculpt, and I think the oils are coming out for coverage and blending. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

I'd like to get started on it too, but I've already got 3 different giant models in various states of progress that ought to get done first. My tiny little painting table is running out of room!
Post it somewhere once it's finished, I'd love to see it!

I've got to agree in regards to the Wizkids tarrasque, and will add another point: building and painting gives you more enjoyment for your money with these giant "minis" that you will likely only use once in an RPG session, maybe twice if you're lucky.

Totally agree on the build vs buy aspect.
Also with wargames you can always find an excuse to lug a big guy like this onto the table! Focus the whole army's theme around him- maybe the smaller units could be its children, or things that clear a path for it... who knows?
At least you'll be guaranteed to get it some tabletop exercise that way instead of gathering dust continually on a shelf!

What a big chonker! Looks great! I have discovered that I prefer painter the larger models in general, suck big canvases to work on.

You’ve built so many plastic models lol.
You’ve built more tarrasques than Gary gygax ;)
    Looks like fun models

Someone's got to think of those poor Tarrasques!
There's a lot of fun models, especially that got released in this cycle.
The current campaign is looking like it's going to be putting out a lot of fun models as well!
