Your videos are my favorite cleaning background. I really appreciate your openness with your health and you inspire me to take more care of myself!! Your beautiful soul is obvious through the camera!
A book Moya Mawhinney inspired me and alllllll of my friends to read is The Secret History by Donna Tartt. It doesn't take place in NYC, or LA, or anywhere in Europe. However, imagine winter in Vermont, studying Greek at a fancy prestigious college, summers in a mansion (the country house). It's so so so good. It focuses on themes about relationships, envy, social class, isolation, and of course the main theme of the book being about the connection between beauty and terror.
Those breakfast tacos look so tasty! Would love to see more low FODMAP recipes-I’ve been eating low FODMAP for years because of stomach problems but it’s still such a journey anytime I want to find a good recipe that isn’t going to upset my stomach
Pulse by Julian Barnes is AMAZING. Short stories of love friendships and relationships in general, all of which are very atmospheric. Simple read but it feels very elevated and modern.
Thank you for this video! I’m struggling with the same gut issues and it’s so nice to hear how well you’re doing and what’s working for you! I’m definitely going to incorporate a lot of things in this video into my life. Thank you so much. 💖✨
Your vlogs are so SOOTHING. I watch you ASAP the moment I know I’m in need of peace and to detach from anxiety. 💖💖 Btw, I love me my houjicha latte, though.
I’m so happy I found your videos. I love your aesthetic and you’re so relatable. I’m currently getting over gastritis and I have similar dietary restrictions (except no coffee for me 💀). It’s nice to know I’m not alone!
I studied abroad in LA last spring and just finished Slow Days, Fast Company by Eve Babitz which you might like - it's very much about place (LA) and has lots of illustrative and descriptive prose that I really enjoyed that captures vignettes of Babitz' life and the city!
Tamari (GF) or coconut aminos are great soy sauce alternatives--I don't think I could tell the difference if mixed in a sauce. Euphoria by Lily King is also a great novel that has a romance but is more about relationships and has the most beautiful prose. The ending is also *chefs kiss*.
your vlogs are so relaxing to me, will have to try those proteïne snacks!! odd thought but maybe you could stick a coaster to your desk (in a way that isn't permanent or damaging ofc) so you always know where you can safely place your drinks without them sliding down the side? 😅
Based on what you've said here, I think you might like the book I just finished - it's called Happy All the Time by Laurie Colwin. Set in 1970s New York and follows the dynamics of two couples just living their lives. The writing is gorgeous and it really creates a strong atmosphere.
I really love your videos so much especially ones like this 🫶🏼 also this is random but your rice always looks so fluffy and delicious and so do your stirfrys - I’m jealous 💚
Omg... just got diagnosed with both hashimoto and sibo. You were already my fav, but what a coincidence! I am doing a fodmap/hipo diet with a nutritionist and it is helping a lot (also antibiotics) but it is so restrictive!!! I would like to know how you handle the hipo and the soya.
📚📚📚For a book which is set in New York I would of course suggest my favourite book which is A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara, and also To Paradise from the same author. In another style, also in NYC, the classic The Catcher In The Rye and finally Widow Basquiat: A Memoir, such a quick and impactful read ! 📚📚📚
You can store those carrots for MONTHS if you store them in a jar or silicone bag covered in water, and change out the water every 1-2 weeks. I do this and they last so long!
A book recommendation I have for LA and New York is Sex and Rage by Eve Babitz if you haven’t read it all ready! It’s an easy read but also keeps you interested in the main character’s journey. It’s very 1970s LA vibes.
My dog gets reverse sneezing fits and it freaked me out the first time! I found that covering her nostrils until she starts breathing out of her mouth usually stops the fit from continuing.
She's literally the only person I can watch over and over again without getting bored or tired 💖 you inspire me sm w my channel 💖🥰🍓♥️♥️🥰♥️

Tamari tastes a lot like soy sauce to me, especially if it’s just in a marinade or dip. Maybe you can do half and half?
