Not really, two were a bit earlier (in the same year though), one by the brothers Albert and Basile Kirchner and the other by Georges-Michel Coissac. Still al in 1897.
@@gertie2454Screw off! There is hordes of scientific accuracy in the Bible. Stuff like the Bible writers knew the hydrologic cycle, that growth comes from the head, and far more!
Cool. Straight to the point 👏🏾However Lord JESUS is not a white man. Never was or will be white. Lord JESUS Saviour is Brown 🟤 skin woolly hair Nazarene. GOD told me that I look like His Only begotten Son in my daily activity. GOD told me that I look more like Lord JESUS than a Davinci painting or Johnathan Roumie. Fun fact. Mother Mary and the women in this film were played by men. Same with every passion play for hundreds of years.
Every race has their own version of Jesus. It's not a white power thing. You try finding a Middle Eastern man who can also act in 1897 France. Jesus would likely look as he does in the show 'The Chosen', if not slightly darker skinned with curlier, shorter hair as was seen often at the time. But the imagery of white Jesus comes from a time where the gospels were being spread and there was no photos, and travel was much rarer. How do you convey "made in Gods image" and show a bunch of white people, or Asian people, or black people, a brown Jesus? So you give them depictions of Jesus in the likeness of their own race to show them that. That's why there's not just white Jesus, but also black Jesus, Korean Jesus, Chinese Jesus, etc. If you have a problem with White Jesus, you should call out all the other differently raced Jesuses. If you want to get even more technical, his name was also not Jesus. It was Yeshua, or Emmanuel, a name closer to "Joshua" than "Jesus", both names which were common at the time period, arguably intentional to show that Jesus was God in the form of the *common* man.
@@assass7012 The white Jesus who is really Caesar Borgias has been ingrained in our minds all over the world, I never hear of a Chinese Jesus, an Indian Jesus or an Arabic Jesus like I do European version. And if it didn’t matter then why are most of the images of him are of European descent? When you Google the word Jesus I guarantee the majority of the images will be of him as a white man.
@@SkeletorFanwell, you probably predominantly see European depictions of Jesus because more art of Him was produced there than anywhere else. I guarantee if you search for depictions of Jesus from India or Japan, He'll look like an Indian or Japanese person

I wonder if any of the actors on this video have seen themselves on RUclips. They would be really surprised to see themselves.
🤥
They are long dead
Even if they were babies at the time, they would be 126 years old, so no.
Voglio tanto bene al cinema ❤
It seems that we are watching the video 2000 years ago at the time of Jesus Christ

Bible has incredible scientific accuracy like about round Earth, jet streams, man from soil! And much more!
Tell me more, I just love fairy stories!

Oh yeah! Religious books are the ultimate science guide for dummies.
This was made by a Jewish guy, interestingly enough, who also directed the first pornographic film as well. Not much has changed.
