    A superb Norwegian silent drama starring Aase Bye ❤️ as young “Marit”. Norway didn’t make a lot of silent films, but the surviving ones are exceptional along with the 1920 film Fante (Gypsy) Anne and Laila (1929)

    Okay, that whale was huge, but realistically speaking, those harpoon hits that Ahab struck him with would be fatal after a few days or weeks. Guy got like 5 feet of harpoon into him five times over.

    Osmanlı kime eziyet etmiş, hangi ırkı asimile etmiş, hangi ülkeyi sömürmüş. Yıllarca hüküm sürdüğü topraklarda adaletten başka ne vermiş, Cezayiz Fransızca kokunusuyor, İtalyanlar İtalyanca, Yunanlar Yunanca, Araplar arapça, Kürtler Kürtçe. Kimi, hangi halkı ezmiş. Ermeniler, Bulgarlar, Yunanlar, Sırplar vb vb yıllarca kendi çevresinde yaşaya Müslümanlara eziyet ettiler. İsrail'in Filistin'de yaptığı gibi Ermeniler çocuk, kadın ayırt etmeden kurdukları Taşnak çetecileri ile insanımızı katlettiler. Osmanlı 1 ncı dünya savaşında olduğu halde yine Ermenileri öldürmedi, sürdü sadece, çok normal değil mi. Ermeni zulmü ancak sürgün ile önlenebilirdi. Halen Türkiye'de binlerce Ermeni var. Hangisine eziyet edilmiş.

    1896 LARS PETER ELFELT PETERSEN (1863-1931) This Royal Danish Photographer was impressed by the Lumière Cinématographe as was Doyen. Knowing Jules Carpentier who built the Cinématographe for the Lumières, he returned to Denmark and had engineer Jens Poul Andersen build a camera. Petersen filmed the 1st Danish film ‘Kørsel Med Grønlandske Hunde’ (Driving with Greenlandic Sled Dogs), January 1897. Despite its title it was shot in a Copenhagen parkland called Fælledparken. Petersen changed his name to Elfelt and began filming a series of ‘reportage’ films, which involved a succession of royal arrivals, funerals, children's activities, sports, animal shows, politicians, parades, and other exhibitory themes for the public. Many of Elfelt’s films have been preserved and constitute an historic archive of life in Denmark around the end of the 19th century. The collection comprises around 200 ‘reportage’ films in total. In 1901 he acquired a lifetime Cinema license and named the first theatre in Denmark 'Kjøbenhavns Kinoptikon' (Copenhagen's Kinoptikon) on Frederiksborggade Street. This is where in 1903, Elfelt showed his only feature titled ‘The Execution’ (Henrettelsen). The Danish Film Institute @DanishFilm has a wonderful repertoire of Danish films including some by Peter Elfelt. Cool. Straight to the point 👏🏾However Lord JESUS is not a white man. Never was or will be white. Lord JESUS Saviour is Brown 🟤 skin woolly hair Nazarene. GOD told me that I look like His Only begotten Son in my daily activity. GOD told me that I look more like Lord JESUS than a Davinci painting or Johnathan Roumie. Fun fact. Mother Mary and the women in this film were played by men. Same with every passion play for hundreds of years.

    • @assass7012
      @assass7012 10 месяцев назад

      Every race has their own version of Jesus. It's not a white power thing. You try finding a Middle Eastern man who can also act in 1897 France. Jesus would likely look as he does in the show 'The Chosen', if not slightly darker skinned with curlier, shorter hair as was seen often at the time. But the imagery of white Jesus comes from a time where the gospels were being spread and there was no photos, and travel was much rarer. How do you convey "made in Gods image" and show a bunch of white people, or Asian people, or black people, a brown Jesus? So you give them depictions of Jesus in the likeness of their own race to show them that. That's why there's not just white Jesus, but also black Jesus, Korean Jesus, Chinese Jesus, etc. If you have a problem with White Jesus, you should call out all the other differently raced Jesuses. If you want to get even more technical, his name was also not Jesus. It was Yeshua, or Emmanuel, a name closer to "Joshua" than "Jesus", both names which were common at the time period, arguably intentional to show that Jesus was God in the form of the *common* man.

      @@assass7012 The white Jesus who is really Caesar Borgias has been ingrained in our minds all over the world, I never hear of a Chinese Jesus, an Indian Jesus or an Arabic Jesus like I do European version. And if it didn’t matter then why are most of the images of him are of European descent? When you Google the word Jesus I guarantee the majority of the images will be of him as a white man.

    • @crusaderforchrist
      @crusaderforchrist 6 месяцев назад

      @@SkeletorFanwell, you probably predominantly see European depictions of Jesus because more art of Him was produced there than anywhere else. I guarantee if you search for depictions of Jesus from India or Japan, He'll look like an Indian or Japanese person
