Addidas Duramo 10 in USA size 10 excellent fit, NO discomfort whatsoever Excellent for sprint runs, jogging, walking! For the last week been using them on my morning and evening 80' jogging, sprinting, brisk walking routine. So far so good See if they last 6 months or 1,200 km! Excellent running shoe so far!
I have to agree Roberto. These are my favourite running shoe I’ve got, despite the price. Thanks for watching! I’ll do a 250 mile update when I get there….
Hi, I’ve only recently retired them after 800km/500mi+. They were still fine and I could have got more miles out of them if I wanted. One tiny tear on toe box was the only minor damage to the upper 👍🏻
Hello, I’ve never ran in the Scend Pro but I am a big fan of Puma. The SP seem to have a bigger stack (more midsole) than the Duramo’s, but I thought the D10’s were great for the price and my favourite shoe of last year. Depends on what you are planning on running, how often, how far?
Either will likely do the job. If you want comfort I think the puma will be better, running efficiently/smoothly probably the Duramo. If you’re able to try them on before deciding that may help…..
@@LARKRunningUK Thank you so much. Will probably try to experiment. Currently using the duramo casually, breaking it in before trying to use it for jogging. Just bought Puma Scend Pro online. Will update after trying the Puma. Thank you.
@@LARKRunningUK @LARKRunningUK Just an update sir. You were actually right about these shoes. Puma Scend Pro offers more comfort because of Profoam cushion. While the Adidas Duramo 10 is a little more efficient in walking/Jogging. My only observation is that I can do an extra half mile on the Scend Pro without discomfort. Both shoes are good. Thank you sir.
@59vijaiyaaravindthsr39 never ran in the SL but it looks like a bigger stack so better for longer runs. I’m thinking of getting it at the end of the year when reduced. Light motion is the budget foam but I really get on with it 👍🏻
They fit well and are true to size for me. The Duramo 10 does come in wide (E) sizes so I’d probably look at those if that’s what you usually get. Thanks for watching!
I had the original Duramo size 10. I wore those for three years and ran consistently in them. They were a snug fit and the sides of my feet slightly bulged. I could run and walk in them ok but my feet tended to swell and hurt a bit once I started going to distances past 15 km when running. I've never tried these new Duramo in size 10 so I just opted to buy the size 10 wide on Amazon. My foot width is well past four inches but under 4 and a half inches. A bunch of size charts online stated that I should be wearing wide shoes. After trying these, I found that my foot doesn't bulge over the sole and fits perfectly all the way around. The only minor complaint is that the "vamp" or the space above the foot is a bit bigger/noticeable. I'm so used to feeling the top of my shoe that I'm wondering if it's supposed to be like that or if I've been wearing the wrong shoe size. I jogged twice for about 10 km with tube socks and my feet weren't hurting. I occasionally noticed and felt the space above my feet and it's not too big of a deal. I think that feeling was a combination of the plastic/mesh they used. It's more rigid than the original Duramo. Having wide feet has it's ups and downs but I went with duramo again because they're affordable and simple. Minor inconvenience of having a little more space above the foot > foot buldging slightly over the sides of the sole if I go with just a size 10. I've never tried size 10 in these new duramo but I'm pretty sure that same bulge I had with the original would carry over. I'm hoping that this wide fit fixes my swelling issue when I try to go past 15-20 km. Since you have extra wide feet, you'll probably fit fine.
Great insight. I think a minor bulge over the side is common in some shoes, but if you were experiencing pain and swelling maybe wide fit is best for you. Thanks for informative comment…..👍🏻
It’s made out of recycled plastic and has a fairly coarse feel to it. Very durable, it will definitely last the duration of the life of the shoe. It is water resistant and doesn’t take in water as it isn’t fabric. Thanks for watching!
I’ve never worn that shoe unfortunately. My wife loves them though (Nike Rev 6) for walking comfort, but she hasn’t ran in them. Maybe try both on in store, if possible, and see which you prefer….
I had both duramo 10 and rev 6. Duramo 10 feels much more comfortable. Rev 6 is a bit narrow. Duramo 10 also looks high quality and has some cool colourways.
@@LARKRunningUK Unfortunately, there's no Rev 6 my size available in the store we have, so I was thinking of ordering online. But there was the Duramo 10.
Unexpectedly picked up an affordable pair of the "wides" at a US brick & mortar discounter today. I don't believe it's hugely popular here. Surprised that they are fairly accommodating for my wide forefoot, as I find many Adidas alarmingly narrow. Got the practical (boring?) black. Reassured by your running use that it might prove decent for somethin' or other.
They are okay. I use them predominantly for easy/recovery runs but you can get up to speed in them. Nice roll through and they feel lighter than they are. Thanks for watching!
Depends on pace. Both are quite similar but for faster runs I’d probably go for the EQ21. I normally use my Duramo for easy/recovery runs, but it can do some faster stuff…..
@@LARKRunningUK thanks Mr Lark, that's really helpful. U made me easier to make a decision and i am happy for my chosen. Thanks for all tips through your videos. It give me lot of motivations to keep running.
I assume you mean stack height? Mine measure 24mm in forefoot and 33mm in heel, giving a 9mm drop. Those measurements are approx. Thanks for watching…..
I’ve used it for various distances and they are really easy to run in. It isn’t lightweight, my UK size 11 is 359g/12.3oz but I find they feel much lighter than that.
I’d personally go with the Duramo. I have the NB 680v7 and I like the Duramo more, especially for the shorter distances. The NB is better for longer runs…..
7.30 per mile? If you can run that pace already over that distance, then yes, this shoe is pretty good at rolling along and is comfortable for up to HM…..

I like the sole, very comfortable even on trails. But I find it gets very overheated in warm weather with its plastic upper and lack of breathability
I would agree Ian. Outsole is up there with best I have had, but yes the upper is definitely the downfall of the shoe…..
Excellent video, thanks for taking the time to review the shoe and mentioning what it's good for.
No problem Andy, thanks for watching!
Do you still use it? Are there any tears or deformations in the shoes?
Hi, I’ve only recently retired them after 800km/500mi+. They were still fine and I could have got more miles out of them if I wanted. One tiny tear on toe box was the only minor damage to the upper 👍🏻
Thank you very much@@LARKRunningUK
I have these shoes, they are great. By the way love from India 🇮🇳❤
I agree, my favourite shoes of this year so far! Thanks for the support…👍🏻
Found a pair of these online for $31 so wanted to check out reviews prior to purchasing! Thanks! 😊
Nice! You won’t go wrong for that price….👍🏻
Just got a pair , can you kick ass with these ? ❤❤❤❤
I’ve only run in them, but they are good for that. Not sure about combat 😆

Nike Downshifter 12 vs addias duramo 10 which is better for running?

I found the shoe lace always loose often
Yes same for me. I double knot them and no issues normally. They upper is the worst bit of the shoe (recycled materials)….
Nike quest 5 or adidas duramo speed?
I’d go for the Duramo, but both are similar….
What’s the sizing like? True to size?
Hi Sam, yes the fit was true to size for me. Sizing was perfect not too long like some can be….
Would you recommend this for someone who wears extra wide shoes, my current shoes are the Asics Gel Venture 8 (9.5 4E).
