  • Learn how to dynamically populate a bespoke Excel template file using Office Scripts, how to use the recording tool, create a PDF without using premium actions and some tips on creating your Excel File template. Excel Office Scripts are included as part of One Drive for Business and allow you to create a bespoke script using Typescript BUT do not worry if you are not a programmer - neither am I. The recording tool will write most of the script for you and I will share my solution below to download and try for yourself. Create professional looking PDFs using Excel as a template.
With the provided solution you can create PDFs from Power Apps, Microsoft Forms or List Items on a Microsoft List.

I really appreciate all your efforts spending to provide such detailed instructions about Power Platform and Office apps features. I lost my mobile iPhone in Aberdeen, 2 days later someone found it and called my emergency contact with Scottish accent (obviously), and I managed to get it back. Since then, I am happy to hear anything with Scottish accent. Sorry for the side note 👍🏻Kudos to you.

Thanks Damien! exactly the function I'm looking for right now. At least, remaining challenge is how to connect this to capture data once a row is added from a separate sheet :)

Cheers Greg. Have you got any potential use cases or video requests?

@@DamoBird365 Would love an addition to the send unique emails with HTML table from excel data video. I'd have a use case where I'd like to mirror the data as an excel attachment also. So the unique email would have the table but also an excel attachment with the same data 😁

Also, I'd definitely be interested in a vidoe explaing the syntax and what things like expressions, strings and variables are, from the ground up kind of. And a walk through of things like 'apply to each', 'compose' and the other options available. That would help my understanding alot. Thanks for your vidoes, I think there gold ✨️

Hey Damien thanks for sharing this, would love to know if there is a way to add an image to the form whilst keeping aspect ratio correct.

What could be your approach for similar template in MS Word. How would you convert it to PDF?

How do you keep the page breaks you set in Excel in the PDF file?

There was definitely trial and error, using print preview and ensuring I had the right number of rows.

Hi there, can you elaborate? I show how to attach the pdf in the flow, do you want to attach additional attachments?
