- For 2024, I thought it would be cool to pick a few cars from each of the events I attend and highlight them with an overview video; sort of like the 80R preview videos, but much more often and not restricted to the cars featured in the book. Sato's AP1 is a great car to introduce the new 'Machine Check' video series.
This was Sato's first test of the new TODA F20C 2350 engine and with a new best of 58.250, he even surprised himself at how the car performed. Sato's build style focuses on utilizing only the highest quality parts, and emphasizes a strict maintenance routine that keeps the car function at 100% at all times.
Enjoy the video, and keep an eye out for a full gallery soon //

Even has heat-shield on the tie rod boots and ball joints! Time attack cars in Japan don’t miss even the smallest detail!
ball joints melting is a common issue on S2000s
@@NaritaDogfight Interesting, I never knew that about s2000s. Thanks for the info!
@@dante_lsx Especially on the rear. The brakes on the rear get ridiculously hot
This car is perfect in every way. It's what the Japanese exceed at. Balance. Stance is perfect, amount of bling vs. well used parts is perfect, colour coordination is perfect, aero is perfect. I know a car is never "done", but at some point every touch might seem like a touch too much. It's what makes a masters painting stand out from one of his students.
Also: Sugar with the deep pockets. Going from stock engine to a Toda one LMAO
Aizome Racing sponsored the engine
Very nice. Sugarmeister has been a regular at time attack events for more than awhile now. Hopefully, you can get some more images of @zeke_kun gorgeous LBP AP1 that was on the other side of the R32.
Looks so simple yet it’s such a meticulous build👌🏻👌🏻
the secrets in the simplicity
This is absolutely stunning. Seriously.
Form bringing function yet again; nice to see bodywork quality hasn't been overlooked too.
Out of interest, what front fenders are these? And what work was done to fit an 18x10 ET45 all round with such a wide tyre? I know 265/35 isn't exactly square on a 10, but it's pretty big for the car!
ASM IS Design front fenders, 265 fits no problem
Great vid, sweat S, the sound of the cars at high revs was therapeutic.
my fav s thanks for the video
Driver merge into beautiful machine equal perfection. Sato-San (Sugar-San) Banzai
i love how tarmac meister still has oem rear fenders
Absolutely love this car! Great Vid of the details up close, thanks!!
Hey, is there any possibility to do similar video with this chaser that you showed on other video?
That shop is pretty far north, not sure I'll be back that way until end of the year
@@NaritaDogfight :( Is there any info about suspension, especially arms that this team use in this chaser?
TOYOTA FILTER!!!
Awesome car! But I Always wondering, why they run very good and high spec engines, but almost no one of them run individual throttle bodies.
some do, but there aren't as many drawbacks with modern intake manifolds
佐藤さんのS2000だね
Beautiful, the rear also fitting very good on the stock panels. Might be that ikeya uca or at least looks like ikeya uca.
Beautiful S2000! I hope to see soon an onboard whit the new engine!
The fastest man at Tsukuba
Exhaust wrap around ball joint boots 🤔
Not bad.🤌🏽
✨✨✨🎌🏁✨✨✨🙌🏽
What mm lens are you using on your camera?
