My Ford taurus doesn’t have a weather strip on the bottom of the rear windshield can it be the reason why inside of the trunk is always wet ? Where the spare tire goes it had water and the spare tire had also rust. I didn’t check the rear taillight yet because I just found this video. Also where did you buy the rubber gasket ?
So I just did mine and there is still water in the trunk. It's not leaking at the tail light harness anymore. Granted it was before. Mines leaking somewhere else also
@@Jerone5740 I'm going to climb in and have the wife hose it down. I siliconed the crap out of everything. It'll be interesting to see where its coming from. I'm wondering if it's coming in through the vent
This was extremely helpful!! Thanks

Mines just getting wet on the drivers side after it rains. I'll try putting some sealent on that spot and see if it works.
Is it still staying dry 6 months later? I'mma about to do this myself. Thank you for the video and look forward to your reply.
Oh yes it's been dry ever since, the customer actually comes in regularly for oil change and I've checked each time
@@Jerone5740 thank you sir! 🤘🏻

Nooo for real? I'm sorry to hear that, I would take a look at your rubber seal around the trunk
