Just to let the public know. GT4 visors are applicable to the K1. I have the silver iridium on mine.

Works on all sizes?
I've had mine for over a year now doing daily local runs (town riding). I have to say it was a bit uncomfortable at first but settled down very nicely. The piping underneath is nearly all gone and the plastic trim in that area also doesn't want to pop back in flush (not a problem really). I love mine, cheap but it's great (black & orange). All the best :)
I have 2 of these helmets and they are by far the most comfortable ones I have ever owned I even have the icon airflite helmet and a Ruroc atlas and I use my AGV k1 more than any of them

You didn't mention anything about the noise level, although a bit relative and subjective, it's an important aspect of a good helmet. More ventilations sometimes means more noise !?
Hi there, thanks for bringing up this topic! It's an entry level helmet and the noise level it's OK until 110 Km/h. Starting from this speed the noise level it's increasing. Nevertheless, with all ventilations closed the noise level it's quite acceptable. What I've discovered it's that some noise comes also from the back spoiler, I would have preferred this helmet without it!

You should try it first to check the fitting! It has an oval shape, so be carefull about it! Greetings!
I just got mine today, is the Dreamtime design, i wear a L and still need to break in, the pads are easy to take out but EXTREMELY HARD to assemble

I'm not so impressed with the pinlock insert (probably gt2) on my K1 (Mir). The upper line of the insert (very noticeable) sits right on the area where I'm looking up the road. Why do they make such a small pinlock for this model greatly reducing/obstructing the view in my opinion. My much lower priced helmet has a far better pinlock that covers almost the whole lower, upper section of the visor.
Did you find a solution with an other visor? Have the same problem on my k3sv.. do you know if other pinlocks fit?

You can't really install pinlock on the smoke and mirror visor since the mounting point is further away than the clear visor. It's basically there for a show. That's what dissapoint me about this helmet
Hi there, I managed to install the pinlock to the Iridium Gold visor with no problems. Check out that the pinlock it's the same size: GT2-1 for example in my case. Greetings!
Boutta start riding bikes and I just ordered the matte black one, it’s been awhile but I think they sell the replacement piece you broke on there site if you haven’t found it yet.

A smoked visor is just like wearing a pair of sunglasses.. it’s too dark for the night, for me tinted visors are most needed when the sun is rising and setting since the sun will be right in your face instead of over your head

2. Is it good helmet for long rides? If not what you suggest.
Normally i do long rides.
It weights 1500g, I used this helmet for all of my long rides, I recommend to use often the ventilation sistem in order to provide a good airflow and to keep the helmet and you with proper ventilation.
This helmet has a very good airflow and the vents are quite efficient. Hope that helps! Greetings!

I use SENA it fits perfectly, you can use whatever fits your budget.
I have tried SHARK helmet size 58, it fits like a glove but I wanna get an AGV K1 or K3, my local store does not sell AGV, can I order online AGV helmet, the same size? Thanks.
For a 58 you'll need a ML size
What is your opinion on the cheaper eBay visors? I live in Australia where the sun is harsh so I want to block as much sun for uv protection from sun burn. Do you think the unbranded eBay visors are safe and good to use?
To be honest, our eyes and vision are the most important when we ride the motorcycle, I would not make a compromise on this side. I am sure that there is a quality difference, so I personally would buy a certified visor. Hope that helps, greetings!

Hello, I also have a problem with my helmet that annoys me a lot. The top part of the helmet that comes in the crown of the head is fastened in 4 staples up in front where the visor is, it is fastened in a hedgehog. Every time I put the helmet on my head, that part of the sponge comes off the hedgehog and moves, even if the hedgehog is still good. does this happen to you too?
yes, sometimes it happened to me also. I think we need a new inside.
Did you consider this to be a noisy helmet, or a relatively quiet one? Thanks.
In general it's noisy after 100 Km/h but as any helmet I highly recommend wearing ear plugs.

I ride a Honda NC750X, it's OK also for a naked. The helmet it's more suitable for racing motorcycles with lower windshields. Hope that helps. The quality /price ratio it's more than OK!

Hello, thank you for your imput. I use it for my bike, if you ride mostly on-road then it's a great helmet to start with. Indeed on the off-roads I would prefer a lighter and more ventilated helmet, adventure style. Hope this helps, greetings!

In the night it's not recommended, you cannot see anything 👀 It's 90% darkness.
Hi i just ordered this k1 and worried i might be affected by noise on the highway when i go touring. What do you recommend try it? Or return it?
This helmet it's a great value for money, on the highway I recommend using the ear plugs. That's anyway recommended for all helmets to prevent hearing problems.

Hi there, this is my first helmet so far, It weights 1500g I cannot say it's heavy, at least I don't feel it like that. I just bought yesterday the K3 Sv for my lady and it weights less I will compare it with it on another video. Hope that helps, greetings!

Hi what head shape does this helmet suit? Round Oval, Intermediate Oval or long Oval thanks.
To be honest it's a slim helmet, especially on the sides it's narrow. My head it's round oval and it's a bit tight but it's not uncomfortable at all because of the comfortable interior. To answer your question I would say Intermediate Oval. Hope that helps. Greetings!

How is the visibility with the gold lens at night?
I tried them once, basically you can see only 10% during the night. In the midd sommer you can ride with it half an hour after the sunset, but I don't recommend.

Hello, these affordable helmets are designed from Moto GP AGV helmets so the answer it's yes. But don't expect the same quality, this are entry level helmets, I highly recommend to hear some ear plugs for better noise protection. Greetings!
