Insane, I've never ridden a bike in the rain like that, but I can only imagine how much skill it takes to race that fast on those conditions.
Everything has to be done more easily. Easy on and off the brakes and easy on the gas with less lean angle as well. Teaches you braking and throttle control but with a lot less tolerance for error.
@@believe8263 And if you have very very expensive racing tires made just for rain ;) It sucks for bikes with normal street tires. One small mess up you do are done
British GP 2005.... just cek it out
Best example I've seen of why a racer should *never* give up. Sometimes, sh!t just gonna happen!
I thought that the mutual respect shown by both Petersen and Scholtz to each other at the end of the race was the highlight for me - good brave racing throughout.
When the whole podium crashed out during the race ! What a race that was
Yeah, must be some kind of amateur racing series for that to be possible, right?
as a f1 race where all ran out of fuel :D:D:D
That would be impossible in MotoGP.
@@urano1988 No it's just impossibly wet
@@Eventual-Visitor Improbable though not impossible
Wicked! That water slide looked epic. There was a crest on the wave. Great racing. Brave. 🇬🇧
hydroplaned
This was the first race I got to see in person and MAN was it insane!
this is an unbelievable coincidence but I'm friends with you on steam. I added you as a random after playing a match of TF2 almost 6 years ago. life is weird.
@@kaase4879 haha no way yoo
@@Bushwacker0079 yep, fr!
I bet you got douched out there unless you were indoors?
Great place to see your first race congratulations
I'm absolutely terrified of riding in the rain. I've had my license for over ten years and I never push my bike when it is raining, and then these guys are giving hell on the track, picking up their bikes and keeping on fearlessly. Pure awesomeness! But the best part was the end, true sportsmanship.
I've never seen someone crash literally from turn 4 all the way through turn 5 at Barber, well, until now. 😁 Epic.
Yeah, that slide was amazing. What grit to keep a hold of the bike!
He could have literally stood up and foot-surfed next to the bike for quite a ways. Wow.
Yeah I really didn't put that together but all the way down the front straightaway
My boss crashed in turn four into the Pitbull last time we were there
The top3 all put it down! What the heck did the rest do? Barber is a beautiful track! Raced it twice.
What a great race to get to watch live on-site!! Hanging on to that bike thru the whole slide, that was awesome. Watching the junior group haul ass around the track in the rain was great! I hated seeing all the wrecks but it was a great day! No serious injuries.
Backing it in, downhill, in the rain……wow. Great race gents! Well deserved. Shows that you always get back up and never quit! 🤙
MOTO AMERICA in the rain 🌧️ don't get no better than that, BET!
Damn that looked like a crazy race. Glad I recorded that today, got to watch that later
Huge respect for all the riders who rode through these treacherous conditions.
Ft
Still, no freshwater crocs. That's a bonus.
Best and most exciting race of the season.
Watching these warriors... Hard to believe anyone would watch a Nascar race.
rent free
Cringe
warrior lol
SPIDERMAN SKILLS!
Yeah because cars playing with the wind at 200mph is boring asf. Every motorsport has its way of being exciting. At least were not watching basketball.
Sitting down with this playing,, bloody brilliant stuff,, great to see the fellas remount and race on,,, from Northern Ireland greatly appreciated,,, ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
Huge respect for all these guys, “Stones of steel”
"HUGE"!!! I ride a ZX 14R, these guys make it look like a TRICYCLE
Boring
🤣
Wow what an entertaining Race. These boyz are so brave. Respect 🙏🏾
Rain races are the best
A lot of heart goes into racing this series, well done to all the riders
Try watching BSB British Super Bike championship!
Best series in the world for me. Most exciting by far. Followed motogp for years but BSB just has it all. Drama packed racing in every class. If you've never watched you have to give it a blast.
@@taff6987 too true, BSB is a great series, all the more because the racers, as with MotoAmerica, really are putting it all on the line for the love of the sport.
Everybody's gangsta until it rains.. insane race.
Baz from the back of the grid to 3rd then crash and still come back to podium... impressive.
Probably the crazies MotoAmerica race ever.
Races should only take place in the rain from now on. That was amazing
With all that rain that is moto racing at is best, really shows all these racers and the skills they have. Great racing. 🏍
The amount of Skill involved is Freaking *Out of this World!*
Insanely awesome race!
Facts
Rain racing should be its own category
The way they were holding on to the clutch trying to not kill the engine while sliding is amazing. swapping hands in between the slide lol
It’s amazing to watch the talent these guys have!
Amazing how courageous and skilled these rider are. Congratulations
Every moto America race is just amazing😃😃 always look forward to the races!!!
Rain races are the best. Epic. Fun to watch.
We all learned a lesson. No giving up! Fantastic race!
That was awesome!! Would have been interesting to hear the after race interviews & riders talk as well!
These guys are NUTS! I can't believe they are able to ride so hard in such challenging conditions! WOW!
WOWWWW this is the most impressive race I have seen of 2021 wowwww.
That was pretty amazing - the standing water was mad!
Gagne's consecutive race win record ends at 16 races, tied with Josh Hayes and Cameron Beaubier. Strong season..
@@Heavywall70 I hear you, but it's been worse. Look back when Mat Mladen was racing AMA superbikes.. dude didn't know when to go home.
MotoAmerica's focus is on getting the best US riders racing MotoGP ..via Moto2 ..which they've recently done with Joe Roberts, Cameron Beaubier and now, just signed Sean Dillon Kelly to a two year ride in Moto2 for 2022..
I remember watching josh Hayes race when he was a privateer racer. Always liked him. But Matt malaidian. Suzuki ruled in that time period 2000’s.
I normally never watch motorbike racing but this was absolutely amazing
How crazy is that going that fast amazing even though the two battling both go down and still finish one and two most exciting finish of the year. And in the 1000 s s,race danny eslick looked like a podium then he went down but managed to salvage 6th good job getting back on the bike to finish danny.
This was the most interesting race I've watched
Rain the Great Equalizer !! Great Race , Thank You .
Felt bad when Scholtz went down but that was one epic slide and recovery.
Incredible.. awesome..
Great race only 3 guy left. And crossed the finish line don’t 42 mph. These guys are brave as hell to push hard in the rain
Pure awesomeness.
Very similar experience when running late for work this morning in the rain.
Insane Rain ...don't even think MotoGP races in heavy rain like this...i was there and video does not do it justice...Barber Best in USA!...Congrats Cambo!
Hey then you don't watch enough motoGp.
@@paranoidnature4601 Name a big rain MotoGp before the Binder win...Loved that BTW...Nothing like Alabama i was there.

Que maravilhosa corrida na chuva de se ver..so talentos,,parabens adoreii,,meu sonho....
Amazing skill-set..Just unreal and WET.
There's NO clickbait here.... absolutely thrilling video!
Thanks for confirming!!
Insane to think about the physics of it all. The contact patch is already so small on race bikes and now in the WET?! My god, it's a miracle they don't all crash.
im pretty sure the whole field went down once, they just didn't show them all.
I honestly can't believe how these racers look like movie characters, the way they just bounce off the pavement somehow and get back up so quickly. A normal person would crash at 120mph in the rain and they would probably be in the hospital for 3 days.
@@Ritalie They are very well protected. They barely feel the impact thanks to their superior racing protective gear.
Scholz surfing across the track, refusing to let go of his bike, has to be one of the craziest highlights!
Buddy did you watch
I started riding minibike at 10, then 350 Honda and a few bigger bikes, then my ninja 1000, motorcycles are my love. Wet grass is worse than ice. Great racing. Thank you from oldman biker.
Skills!
This is an awesome race,so much challenges in this weather
What a race! Wow!! Thanks a lot for posting!
I got to watch this from the hill on the back straight, with Cam's in-laws. Fun time even in the rain!
That was the most insane race I’ve seen
Seriously?
I was there it was insane
That was nuts
Wicked conditions, testing out some drifting skills for sure, wow!
Insane, cannot believe how insane that was. That induced my already insanity to another insane level...what can I say but just insane man🥴
Best race in forever
Absolutely mad.
Probably some of the most graceful falls ive seen in any motorsport
Wow that was the best did not know they race in the rain.
All I can say is WOW!
Best race of the year!
AMAZING RACE!
So fun to watch. Almost has dirtriding characteristics, the way they are constantly fighting for traction in the turns
Incroyables pilotes sous la pluie, c'est extraordinaire, super pilotes. Quel courage et la volonté d'arriver aussi.
amazing race
Amazing race!
Amazing game of chance here!!
Motorcycle road racing in the rain is the best kind of motorsport in the world.
Really respect these riders🧡🧡🧡
Skills and racing !!!
no way..what a race!
I wont even ride in the rain, let alone race!
So happy to see my fellow South Africans take a 1-2 finish!! GO SA!

What a crazy race.
Darn! And I was thinking I would go to that race ... but let the rain stop me! What a race. What riding skills.
where has this sport been my whole life
Wow what a race!
This race is so ludacris. Awesome!
Peterson and Scholtz were crazy in this! That zuke was ripping in the straights but scholtz kept gettin in them corners til he slid out, amazing he finished 2nd, what a rider
What a race 😳
*Amazing !*
There was a time in my life when I road a motorcycle rain or shine constantly because that’s all I had but to race in the rain at those speeds
CRAZY
Absolutely, unbelievably, way kuul race!
That was the most tense racing I've seen in a long time. Wow, those guys are absolute monsters.
I am shocked they even race in the rain (I thought to myself when I watched a Formula 1 race one time) however I am beside myself that they would race motorcycles in the rain. Pretty awesome 👍👍👍
I know right? Like, this makes no sense at all haha. A motorcycle only has a 1" wide contact patch on the tire. Letting them ride at full speed makes no sense, but it's awesome to watch! But really, they should be forced to have "rain bikes" which are half the displacement, or half the horsepower.
I watched this live. Still amazing 👏
Incredible!
it rains more in alabama than any other state in the usa. im blessed to live in this jungle.
Damn, this looks so fun... I would love to race bikes!
Awesome racers!
Incredible the traction the tires still have. I'm still trying to learn the science and ability of tires and the differences between the performance levels of models, and on various road surfaces.
On the street be careful of that oil in the middle of those Lanes in every corner has debris
