Such a sweet video! As someone a little bit older than you, I would recommend trying out how it would feel to work with your passion if you have a chance. I had a very similar experience with my love for creative writing, I went back and forth deciding whether I wanted to make it my job. I am 30 now and I can't say I have figured it out, but what I know for sure is that I am grateful for all the internships/jobs/extra courses I experienced during the past decade because everything I did got me a little bit closer to what my dream life should be. In my case, I enjoy having a job mostly focused on writing because it comes naturally to me, but not creative writing, that's a hobby and for now I like it that way. Good luck with your Disney programme, I'm sure it will be a great experience :)
Hi Savannah, I started to watch your videos about two years ago and watched you grow! This year my kid is going to Minerva. I'm sorry to hear India didn't work out for you and I'm also concerned about food/water/climate there😢DCP sounds awesome! Have fun in FL! PS we are from other side of Canada❤
thank you so much for your kind words 💗 i hope everything goes well for your kid! congratulations to them!! minerva has really pushed me to grow and ive learned so much:) let me know if they have any questions or are nervous about anything, id be happy to chat with them 💕
The climate in Hyderabad will definitely ne hot and depending on where you live it might be polluted too. For water I'd recommend getting a water filter installed (if you're renting units ask them if they have one installed) otherwise its a one time investment that most homes have, tap water is not safe at all and for food Proper restaurants or indian fast food chains are good(deliveries from apps like swiggy and zomato are big things, you can check ratings and so all) otherwise home cooked food is better if you haven't been conditioned to the environment(concepts of maids is also very prevalent and in most cases they cook too) Hope your family has a safe stay :)
You already sound like a natural for a PI, I’ve personally seen quite a few advertised in the brand/marketing aspects of the business, and maybe a few here and there in PD or animation/art. It’ll be interesting to see what role you get for your DCP, but I would 100% say go for the PI when the time arises 😊
whenever someone says they would love to visit India I cringe a little, as someone who has lived there for a long time. It is a place that tends to be ridiculously romanticized, which is not to say that there aren't places and aspects of Indian culture that are truly incomparably beautiful(you 100% need to know where to look though, often beyond touristy bullshit), but as you said, the environment is just so physically and mentally/emotionally unforgiving at times. I totally get where you are coming from, as India wears down on you very quickly especially if you are not used to the environment. Indians are truly built different and if you aren't from there it is not easy to adapt to the pollution, food/water, climate and people especially within a few months. So I completely respect and understand your decision, but I hope you visit again better prepared one day! There is so much, good and bad, to be gleaned from that place.
that was really well said! i definitely romanticized it a lot. while there were beautiful places and wonderful memories, i could only experience them when i was healthy, which was rare. i hope i can visit again someday for a shorter period of time and with a precise plan! thanks for sharing your thoughts 💕
