I was born during a hurricane. They cut me out of my mother, and then we had to be evacuated immediately. I was actually lost, and they didn't find me until I was 3 days old. My father fought the hurrican on his motorcycle to try and get to the hospital to see me and my mom. When he finally got there, we had already been evacuated. Then I was super sick as a baby. My mom was very young and didn't realize how sick I was. My grandparents ended up coming to visit and told her to take me to the doctor. They would pay for it. The doctor took one look at me and said, "Get that baby to the hospital, or she will be dead in 1 hour. When they arrived at the hospital, they were waiting and ripped me out of my mother's arms and took me back. I always loved the story of how my dad fought a hurricane just for me. ❤ It's crazy how you said that my birth was traumatic and that I got sick afterwards you're totally right.
