I have been trying to make algo of both MACD and StockRsi Strategies since last six months. The entry position sometimes take wrong as per as StockRsi. Though the MACD crossover is signalling correctly, it is a lagging indicator.

Hi and thank you very much for this invaluable Part 1 & Part 2 video. I wanted to change my SRSI to 12, 6, 3 in TradingView but I am not sure if the 12 is for the "Stochastic Length", the 6 for "RSI Length" and the 3 for both the "D" & "K" lines? This would significantly improve my trade analysis and accuracy. I appreciate your feedback sir.
Can anyone help me with the TradingView setting for Stochastic RSI to ensure it matches Trader DNA's recommendation of 12, 6, 3?
@@LSC29Dec12 Perhaps use the Stochastic Slow instead of RSI, this way you can populate the fields of the numbers easily. Then of course, see how it works with the MACD and you should be able to watch the two interact as shown in the video lesson. Good luck!

This is for daily or intraday charts too ?
When in smaller timeframes, the manipulation is way easier so it's also a lot more common to see false signals. Be aware of this if you will use *any* strategy based on oscillators. You should also combine it with common sense over support/resistance and supply/demand regions.

Stock picking is an effort in futility, particularly at an uncertain time such as this.
My portfolio is still significant, about $320k, but I'm not confident about picking stocks anymore. Are there really no other options for me to gain from the stock market ?
I'm sorry to hear that. It's hard to beat the market as an ordinary investor. You don't have access to information that professionals have. So it's just better if you invest with a professional who knows how things work better.
Picking stocks is a risky thing to do, particularly for non-professionals. I learnt that in 2020, when I lost almost everything. But I switched to using a financial advisor, who has better knowledge of the market than I do, and I've been returning at least $38k every month. Just too bad I didn't learn the lesson early one.

Thank you for these videos. IMO there's no such thing as OB /OS -- just regions of high momentum in a trending market. There's is no LAW saying that an oscillator's travel above an arbitrary threshold means that price action is *overdue* to retest some point in the chart. Rather, OB / OS just gives hints about when to start looking for slow downs in price velocity and when to spot divergences between momentum and price and/or velocity and price
Based on that, there's even no condition to enter a trade...for example, an engulfing candle in 15mins might be a doji in H1
