Will do. Other RUclipsrs have pretty well covered the D2, but I’m finding unexpected first gen Easter eggs that I can share in a follow up video. Thanks for watching.
I’ve had the gauge for many years, so I don’t really know. Something dad came home with from the dealer or maybe one of the swap meets. I don’t see any for sale at ACMOC.org. You might get lucky on ebay. I see a D8 gauge on ebay now. Good luck and thanks for the question.
Work is in progress when I can fit in time. Staring engine is off and needs a rebuild. I’ll need to split the tractor for new main clutch disc. Probably needs new steering clutch packs as well. Plenty other small unit repairs will be necessary. No big deal. Just takes time.
@@rudycarlson8245 guessing diesel is ok. That’s the assumption I’m going with for now. I’ll attack it separately. I suspect it was parked due to steering clutch issues. Will run diesel on test stand prior to reassembly.
That is absolutely gorgeous!! Please keep us updated on your progress with this D2.

That is really close to Squatch253's D2 5J1113. Nice tractor.
Yes indeed. 21 numbers younger.
1st thing I thought of when I first saw this today
Plowing in the fur, I see that cat has the upper carrier rollers not all d2s had them, and them tracks look a bit tight
My D2 is very very similar to this.
Squatch253 is a great source for where to get parts and his serries on 5J1113 is very informitive on anything you may need to know about a D2
Yeah start it up 🙂
That's the plan. It might be awhile though.
Where you find your track gauge at?

@@TJAkin Will continue to watch as you post progress on this D2! Do you know the condition of the Main Diesel?
