- Hope you're all having an amazing start to the week, Geeks! Today I'll be showing you the process of constructing my custom diorama for my NECA 1/4 scale TMNT 1990 figures based off a New York rooftop!

Not even a 90s kid but I love everything from the greatest era of all time. 90s TMNT was and still are my childhood.
Definetly the best custom collectible diorama so far.
Just a heads up for next time, try and get the background printed on vinyl with air release. I work in a field where we do a lot of large scale printing. If you have a local sign shop you can have the background printed on "Air Egress Vinyl" it will go down way easier and you wont have to worry about adhesive, as the vinyl is like a giant sticker. Awesome build btw

As a former New York City resident who spent a lot of time on top of his 4 story walk up, you got the roof texture exactly right. There is always a sloppy border of tar around all the panels and you nailed it!

Hey Chris, another great way to simulate scaled down asphalt is cork board. When it's painted in blacks and grays it looks terrific.

These kind of videos are so inspiring. What I like is all the detailing on this small scale can be scaled up to make large full scale lightweight sets if someone wanted to. Just buy larger full sized foam pieces and go to town. I love this stuff! Great video!

This is an amazing diorama for the 1990s Turtles. Captures the feel of the movie and the model making is excellent. One tiny gripe is i think it should have been a little taller but thats just my preference. Still an amazing job.
